Ben Tennyson, The forever suffering child, cursed to bear the galactic horrors of The Carnitrix.
Peter Parker, The once friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, now one of the many zombified monsters of Earth-2149.
Superheroes! You know them, you probably love them. The Idea of humans gifted with incredible powers which they would use to protect society and save the world from various threats. Now imagine combining such a hopeful idea with the genre of horror, and the themes which make our spines shiver and skin crawl, and when you get that you get… These two tortured souls.
These two alternate universe adaptations of beloved witty teenage heroes were once average and good people (One less than the other) but due to an event from the sky resulted in them becoming horrific monsters, and having murderous instincts far out of their control. As they were forced to watch themselves rip and tear their loved ones to death, leaving them with damaged minds and never ending pain. So with both of their pretty much forever ruined lives, I think we all wanna see these two just get a break and be able to die in peace… So why not die to each other? Yup that's right for halloween we're putting these two horror ‘heroes’ against each other to see who would win in a fight!
So for you readers, Watch out and be prepared for any primitive hunger You may experience.

Before We Start…
Now these two being compared is a little weird. As one comes from a public domain internet horror series, while the other comes from an official comic book series. So the rules here are a little different, we’ll start with Carnitrix since he’s more complex.
For Ben we’ll be using the most popular media for him. Of course we’re using canibal099’s original account but we’ll also be using JHG’s comic adaptation, various stories, fan art, fan comics, the many MANY animations online, and even the fan game made by Arwimiles, and pretty much whatever we can find. We will also scale Carnitrix to various feats that happen in the canon Ben 10 TV series and extended media… But not fully. You will see why we’re doing this later on in the blog. It’s also important to note many of the scans within the blog are written in spanish, but you should be able to make out most if you cannot speak the language and plus in the comments of most of the Tik Toks there's a translation of what's being said.
For Peter, we’re using pretty much his canon. And yes despite what some people say the Army of Darkness prequel is indeed canon, no doubts whatsoever, it’s actually an essential read along with Dead Days. Obviously, Resurrections will not be used, as that contains an entirely different virus and means of infection despite the Hunger and the Brood from this continuity both being sentient not to mention that that Peter actually survived and didn’t manage to be infected, although in a similar vein to VSBW scaling Old Man Logan to 616 Wolvie, we will be scaling Peter to his 616 Counterpart.
And one final note this blog will have graphic violence, gross imagery among other dark themes within it, if you dislike that, then leave.

Background
Carnitrix Ben
Far beyond our solar system in the far out galaxy, there's a planet known as Galvan. A planet filled with incredibly intelligent frog-like aliens known as Galvans, They’re incredibly peaceful and kind who want nothing but to help the species around them. Especially the first thinker Azmuth… At least that's what the prime Azmuth is like. If you simply cross the vast multiverse you’ll find a version of the galvan who is as far from a hero as we are from his planet.
In this universe Azmuth was a sadistic and xenophobic individual who sees every species in the universe outside of Galvans as inferior beings, and for years he seeked ways to get rid of the scum underneath his planet. Eventually coming up with a plan; He would eradicate every species he deemed unworthy of keeping alive, while enslaving the remaining species as a twisted sign of gratitude. To perform such a plan he created a device that essentially creates eternal torture, a device that would turn the bearer into various alien species, and it was known as… The Carnitrix. Before he could enact this, his plan was rumoured through the galaxy and eventually discovered. So in an act of cowardness he killed himself before anyone could find him and blasted the device down to planet earth as he thought that humans had a malicious and egocentric nature and whoever caught the watch would cause pain either way. As the watch flew down to the blue sphere we call home, it crash landed in front of the soon to be wielder. Benjamin Kirby Tennyson.
Ben was your average 10 year old child, who had goals and dreams of becoming a hero and doing good. But while on a summer vacation with his cousin Gwen and grandfather Max, he discovered the watch as it had fallen in front of him on a walk. As Ben approached the watch it would quickly strap to his arm and stick its tendrils into his arm, permanently bonding it to his arm as he would scream in pain, catching the attention of his cousin who went to find him. But as Gwen approached Ben the Carnitrix activated and burned his skin in a painful manner, turning him into a strange fiery being as he killed his cousin, crushing her skull with his fiery hands. But the worst part of it all; he had 0 control of what he could do as the same fate happened to Max when he approached Ben, with him turning into an incredibly fast velociraptor creature which would obliterate Max in one go.
Ben in horror ran off and seemingly lived in the streets trying to hide from society, but leaving brutal murder scenes wasn't a good way of keeping people off his back as was persuaded by many police officers and government agents, who he would brutally kill much to his dismay. The threats got bigger and bigger, stuff like fighting Tetrax and Vilgax, two plumbers who quickly tried to stop Ben and put up a good fight. But the Carnitrixs might was too much and Malware who was a failed creation of Azmuth. Who Ben also beat, eventually these fights were to much and the military showed up to try put an end to the watches reign of terror, but due to so many beings being there at once this caused the Carnitrixs life detection system to go nuts and transform Ben into the strongest alien available: Alien X. Who was actually the essence of some of Azmuths DNA mixed with a Celestialsapian, which allowed him to kill the multiple personalities in X’s head and have full control. As he showed by destroying the whole entire universe in a second.
All this carnage caused Professor Paradox (A Time travelling reality warper who helps canon Ben on his adventures) to realise that Alien X needed to be stopped. As he rounded up a team of Ben Tennysons from all across the multiverse to put an end to this threat once and for all. With A future version Of Ben known as Ben 10k would quickly be outside of the Cartnitrixs range, being unable to detect him which allowed him to quickly slice off Ben's arm, removing the Carnitrix from him. And Thanks to The Celestiapsapians, Ben's original universe was remade. His Grandpa and Cousin were all okay. But while they healed all the physical damage… The mental scars never left. Ben was traumatised and was having hallucinations of his Alien forms due to the Carnitrixs DNA fusion system, which would continue into Ben's adult years.
Eventually Ben would argue with Paradox and beg for him to turn back time into the moment he got the Carnitrix to avoid any of the events that had effectively ruined his life. Eventually Paradox finally agreed and as promised, Ben appeared in the past moments before he had found the Carnitrix. Ben ran to his younger self and put his hand on his shoulder, saying that it's better to leave it there as his younger self ran away out of fear. But for the first time ever Ben was happy to be feared as he looked into the stars that cursed him with dread. Now smiling as he quickly vanished due to time paradoxes as his suffering and the story of The Carnitrix came to an end.
And that is what makes this version of Ben Tennyson a hero, despite everything that happened to him, Ben 10. Cause no matter the universe, no matter the events, or in this case the fear. He’ll always do whatever’s right in his eyes, even if it costs him his life. Cause while no one will remember him and what he did due to the effects of time travel. Being a hero isn't about others knowing you did something good, it's about you knowing you did something good. Being a hero is its own reward.
Zombie Spider-Man
Zombies are a pop-culture staple, a mythological undead flesh-eating revenant created through the reanimation of a corpse. But in little media are they ever seen as imposing, only being a back-drop to the real horror.. Humans! However.. The exact opposite of this trope is another staple, the Superhero, there to inspire hope and save us from the nightmares we find ourselves in, no matter what… But this begs the question.. What If..? The Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the symbols meant to inspire hope to us, had become the very monstrous flesh-eaters we see ever-so often. Unfortunately for the people of Earth-2149 this very scenario had unfolded, they say it all started with a cloud, and a flash, and that was all it took for the Earth to be taken over in mere hours, as the Hunger consumed all superhumans, and no exception to this was the wise-cracking, friendly-neighbourhood hero of New York, Peter Benjamin Parker. Better known as Spider-Man.
Little is known of Peter’s life before the events of Marvel Zombies but it is noted that it followed the life of the mainline 616’s Spider-Man, just minus Mephisto, as he and Mary Jane were still married. However, his life of fighting crime and saving people all changed when Ash Williams (yes, THAT Ash Williams!), was plucked from his world when fighting the zombified Sentry of Earth-Z. In no time, Ash arrived and accidentally helped a couple of villains help defeat Daredevil – under the impression they were the heroes. Ash excavated the world thoroughly, trying to warn the Super Heroes of the incoming threat he presumed to be his greatest foes, the Deadites.
But most of the Avengers of this world dismissed him, including Colonel (not Captain) America, who tasked Spider-Man with taking Ash and swinging away while he and the others checked out the purple lightning. And in no time, the zombified Sentry infected the Avengers, leaving few survivors, the ones right now being Ash and Spidey, the only problem was… Peter was bit. Although, luckily for him, his healing factor worked overtime to try and save him. Just enough to fool the Zombie Avengers and save Ash from becoming their meal. In his final conversation to Ash, he drops his new friend off on a building as he swings off to try and save MJ and Aunt May, but alas, he had succumbed to the Hunger Virus as he had arrived, ending his life.. But starting his un-life. This resulted in Peter cannibalising both his Aunt May and his wife Mary Jane… Jesus.
During his state of un-living, Peter and the other Zombies ravaged the world in little time, first the master of magnetism Magneto, then consuming the Silver Surfer which caused all The Zombies to gain his powers which they used to take down the big bad himself Galactus. Now taking his place and power as the Devourer of Worlds, until they had created a Fermi Paradox, having wiped out every habitable planet in the Universe in only 50 years. Here, the Zombies returned to Earth, their Hunger waning, as Peter tried and succeeded in stopping those still afflicted from eating the new humans on Earth, even taking on the zombified Hulk. After this things were seemingly going good for Peter once again, with Giant Man building a multiversal portal for the humans to have a better world to live on. But a deluded Mutant son known as Malcolm Cortez said that he liked his new lifestyle (For context it was a small world with a small batch of humans he could control) and that he would get rid of the zombie threat. As he managed to activate the newly repaired dimensional portal, sending all the Zombies including Peter to Earth-Z, stripping them of the Power Cosmic. In Earth-Z, Peter learned there was a magical tablet which he could use to rid himself of this curse. During this adventure he tried his hardest to control his Hunger, and fight the Sinister Six non-lethally, but it simply was not enough, much to his dismay. As his actions resulted in the death of that world's Peter Parker, him infecting the Sinister Six who killed all his friends, which then resulted in Peter killing every last one of them in a fit of pure rage. These actions made Peter view himself as a joke who didn't even deserve to wear the mask of Spider-Man, Hell he didn't deserve to even have the skin of Peter Parker, as he began slowly ripping off his skin in disgust.
For four years he stayed underground now determined and his Hunger satiated permanently. He eventually came out and saved Kitty Pride and Earth-Z’s Wolverine, creating a Cure to save the consciousness of a Zombie-afflicted being, assembling the New Zombie Avengers, who he formed to take down his former ally Hank Pym. And through the hard fought battle Peter eventually used a combination of Sandman, Wolverine's healing factor and Nanites to create an attack that would eat all of their cells permanently as Sadnman attacked and killed every Zombie there, including Peter. Who died thanking Sandman for avenging his family as he drew his final breath. Peter Parker, Spider-Man, Zombie Spider-Man, was now dead.
Although Earth-2149's Peters world was sick, disgusting and dangerous to step foot in with seemingly nothing being the same. Spider-Man despite everything, despite the hunger, the trauma, and the blood on his hands. He never stopped trying to do what’s right even if he failed many times. Cause at the end of all things it’s not Spider-Man’s rotting body that refuses to die in the world of Marvel Zombies. it’s his great power, and greater responsibilities.
Skill And Experience
Carnitrix Ben
Little is known of Ben's life before encountering The Carnitrix. But it should generally be comparable to his prime self. Who was capable of passing the 3rd grade just by choosing C for all the answers, and has a perfect photographic memory being able to memorise various symbols after seeing them for only a second, and was able to trace an accurate image of a series of crop circles he saw in the middle of a fight. Ben prime was also good at improvisation, trickery, and sports.
In terms of foes he’s faced, he’s taken on many. From the military, various drones, robots, Tetrax, Vilgax, Hex, Malware and even held his own against many versions of himself from across the multiverse for a period of time. And while this was not him doing the fighting it’s still great for experience.
Zombie Spider-Man
Like his opponent, there isn’t actually much said about his background besides the Zombie Virus. However, his life followed the same path as his 616 counterpart, just, y’know, without One More Day. Who can perform “an unbelievable amount of calculations on the fly”, activate a Cosmic Cube with only only the bits of technology available to him in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, created a solution that melts through gold but is harmless to skin, and is very notably treated as one of the top scientists in the Marvel Universe. But even just using what he did during the apocalypse he’s insanely impressive. He was capable of tricking the Zombies into thinking he was still human after he was first bitten, used Doc Ock's arms as a conductor to fry Electro with his own Lightning, and even created a vaccine which was capable of suppressing the zombie virus.
In terms of combat, his 616 self trained under the likes of Captain America (Colonel America for him), and Shang-Chi, creating a fighting style tailored towards his own abilities. As for himself, he’s been fighting and flying around the cosmos with his fellow Zombies for the good part of a few decades.
Equipment
Carnitrix Ben
The Carnitrix
The watch which brought an end to life itself. The Carnitrix is a DNA Altering device which allows him to transform into various alien species to wreak havock upon any life in his way whether he likes it or not. The Carnitrix is equipped with many features, the main one being the ‘Threat Detection’ The watch will detect and sense out anything that may be considered a threat on a 20 mile radius and transform him when the threat is detected. It can also transform him over smaller things such as a tiny scratch. When transforming Ben's body is mutated and mangled to fit the species he turns into, with him feeling every bit of pain of his new form, like the burning sensation of turning into Heatblast for example, this is also useful as the Carnitrix heals all of Ben's bodies wounds when he turns back showing it has a regeneration feature too, which is incredibly useful as during these transformations Ben can be reduced to nothing. The final feature of the Carnitrix is something known as ‘The Alien Disorder’ As its name implies it’s a mental disorder of sorts given to Ben by the watch after it was forcefully removed Apparently, the device had bonded with Ben to such an extent the aliens in it were still able to access his mind causing many hallucinations and it’s even implied the aliens could influence or possess Ben during this. The watch is also equipped with standard Omnitrix features like scanning aliens and such.
The Recalibrated Carnitrix
If the Carnitrix is put under enough stress it will go under a recalibration and change into a brand new Carnitrix with new (and seemingly stronger) aliens. Although Ben never canonically archives this, he has achieved it in many fan animations.
Zombie Spider-Man
Spider Suit
His original suit! It’s most likely made out of the same materials and has access to his belt with extra web cartridges… It’s also best if the suits kept on since he's not the most appealing on the eyes.
Web Shooters
Like most Spider-Men, Peters is equipped with Web Shooters which he uses to swing around and tie up his meals with. They should also generally have a similar range to his canon 616 Web Shooters, which is about 60 feet.
Cybernetic Leg
During the cosmic buffet, Peter gained a cybernetic leg to compensate for the loss of his right leg. And a metal leg combined with Spider Strength would probably hurt a lot.
The Vaccine
While Peter found it impossible to fully cure himself of his zombie state, he made a vaccine for the virus which would suppress the hunger and dampen the fires of one's appetite long enough for them to have control of themself.
Sand Canister
During his assembly of the New Avengers, he stored 91126’s native Sandman in a canister, and coated his body in Tony Stark’s necrotic-tissue destroying nanites and an extract of Wolverine’s healing factor which work on a sub-atomic scale, which would allow him to kill any necrosed being regardless of durability.
Abilities
Carnitrix Ben
Heatblast
The first form Ben ever turned into which he used to kill his cousin with. It’s The Carnitrix's sample of a species known as Pyronites. Heatblast, as you can tell just by looking at him, controls fire with him being able to shoot fireballs, breathe fire, ignite fiery explosions from the ground, boil someone's head till it pops, etc. He also most likely has the same powers as his canon counterpart, who is capable of generating smoke and absorbing fire.
XLR8
The form Ben used to kill his Grandfather Max Tennyson. It’s The Carnitrix's sample of a Kineceleran, official mascot of the AU, Papu Veloz himself; XLR8. This form allows Ben to move at incredibly high speeds to the point he obliterates people by running into them, and is armed with sharp claws that can slice a man in half. XLR8 Should also have the powers of prime XLR8 who can create vortexes and run on water with pure speed. Ben does later on lose this form to Malware but it’s way too iconic to just simply get rid of. Plus that would be hella lame.
Fourarms
One of the most iconic aliens of the original 10, It’s The Carnitrix's sample of a Tetramand. Fourarms a large bulking monster with (you guessed it!) 4 Whole arms which he can use to throw cars, rip people in half and spin with so much force he creates a small tornado. He is also so tough, bullets do absolutely nothing to him. He should also have the same powers as a canon Fourarms who can perform thunderclaps for ranged attacks.
Diamondhead
Spycrabs' favourite alien and The Carnitrix's sample of a Petrosapien. Diamondhead is a being entirely made out of Diamonds meaning he’s naturally pretty tough, he can also manipulate Diamonds to fire out as projectiles, shift his limbs into weapons, conjure up a bunch of sharp diamonds, make diamonds grow inside within a victim's body to pierce them from the inside, and other Petrosapiens in the AU can make diamonds rise from the ground to send an opponent flying into the air. Canon Diamondhead, who he should share abilities with, can cause his crystals to explode, absorb energy based attacks, and regenerate lost limbs.
Wildmutt
The Carnitrixs sample of a Vulpimancer. Wildmutt has sharp teeth and claws to rip into foes with, a long tongue to snatch onto foes and pull them towards it, and enhanced senses which can sense out nearby people to make up for its lack of eyes. (kinda like the Eyeless Dog from Lethal Company) He should also have a canon Vulipmancers powers such as firing off its quills as a projectile attack.
Ripjaws
The Carnitrixs sample of a Piscciss Volann. Ripjaws can breathe underwater and has sharp teeth and sharp claws to maul his opponent to death with. Not much but he’s probably one of the best Ben 10 Aliens to be a horror monster besides… Y’know. Speaking of Y’know…
Ghostfreak
The Carnitrixs sample of the Ectonurite Zs'Skayr. If you’ve watched the original Ben 10 you’d know that Zs’Skayr was a sentient being and he was in The Carnitrix universe as well… But as it turns out the modifications done to his DNA by the device were so strong it destroyed his very mind so no Zs’Skayr sadly. You can live another day, Sukuna. Anyways as Ghostfreak Ben can produce hand like tendrils as shown in the image, possess people and rip them open from the inside, turn intangible, place his hands within someone's head to shock the life out of them, and he should have the many abilities of Zs’Skayr who can use telekinesis, affect people's dreams, regenerate from his atoms being shredded, etc.
Upgrade
The Carnitrixs sample of a Galvanic Mechamorph. Upgrade is a being made out of billions of small nanites and is capable of shifting his body parts into weapons and upgrading technology into deadly weapons, like turning a normal car into a speeding vehicle of death. He should also have the upgrading skill superior to that of 10 year old Ben prime, who would turn the rust bucket into a giant mech which could fire missiles. Galvanic Mechamorphs can also fire beams of plasma because it’s cool.
Stinkfly
The Carnitrixs sample of an Insectoid. Stinkfly as his name implies, can fly! He can also fire goo from his eyes which seems to resemble acid as they can easily burn through human flesh. His slime capabilities should also be comparable to canon Stinkfly who can fire it from his mouth and make his slime sticky to trap opponents with.
Grey Matter
The Carnitrixs sample of a Galvan (Ironic since the watch was created by one) Grey Matter has a high IQ and a giant brain, which allows him to mess around with technology. Like when he created functioning laser gauntlets out of stuff he found in a mechanic store. His IQ should also be comparable to a normal Galvan, who could utilise pressure points and hack into the Omnitrix. We are aware The Carnitrix in the original story has no Galvan DNA, but we wanted to include it for fun.
Cannonbolt
The Carnitrixs sample of an Arburian Pelarota. Cannonbolt is capable of rolling up into a ball which then forms spikes, which he can use to pierce his opponents at blinding speeds. Other Arburian Pelarotas can utilise enhanced hearing, reflect attacks, and be enhanced by electric based attacks.
Snare-Oh
The Carnitrixs sample of a Thep Khufan. It’s a drawing on the creators Tik Tok that depicts Ben's own skeleton ripping out of the mummy wraps. It should have similar powers to that of Snare-Oh who can attack people with his tendrils and regenerate from attacks.
Swampfire
The Carnitrixs sample of a Methanosian. Swampfire can manipulate fire much like heatblast to burn peoples skin off, stretching out his arms, create gas which can ignite giant alleyway sized explosions, regenerate from a hole being blown in his chest, and while we never see him do it, it’s a canon ability that Methanosians can manipulate plants.
Big Chill
The Carnitrixs sample of a Necrofriggian and Canibal09’s avatar. We never actually get to see it on screen but Big Chill in the show is capable of freezing opponents to absolute zero, turning intangible and interacting with intangible beings. Big Chill also has sharp claws, and can fly with a pair of wings.
BenEon
After Eon (Evil Ben from the future) tried to recruit Carnitrix Ben for a plan, The Carnitrix quickly scanned his DNA giving Ben a Chronian form. This form allows him to fire purple energy beams from his hands which can most likely age things to death much like canon Eon. He can also most likely teleport and travel through time like this version of Eon.
Vilgaxian Form
Another drawing we just see on the creators Tik Tok. He’s most likely got the same power set as Gax from the reboot (as he appears to be its inspiration) who can use his tentacles to attack foes and climb mountains with, shoot lasers from his eyes, and create shockwaves.
Way Big
Yet another… Drawing we only see on the creators Tik Tok. Anywho Way Big is a To'kustar and just by his name, you can guess he’s pretty fucking big. To’kustars can also manipulate their size, throw opponents all the way into space, fire cosmic beams, and summon cosmic storms. A horror version of Ultraman… Pretty cool and scary.
Alien X
When the military began to attack Ben and surround him for the acts he committed in his previously mentioned forms, it caused the danger sense to go haywire and activate The Carnitrix’s most powerful form. Alien X.
The Carnitrixs sample of a Celestialsapian which if you're a Ben 10 fan, you would know Celestialsapians possess three personalities in their head with Ben being the voice of reason… Well turns out Azmuth had killed the Bellicus and Serena in Alien X’s head somehow and replaced them with his consciousness allowing him to control this form. And as you can tell a xenophobic person given the powers of a god do not mix well.
As Alien X Ben has access to …
Flight: Look at renders of lil bro.
Multiple Selves: If you try to jump into X’s mind, he’ll always be there. Along with Ben who is just sitting there horrified.
Energy Manipulation: Is able to fire green energy blasts from his hands, and red and black energy blasts if he wants to be different i guess.
Explosion Creation: Capable of creating large explosions to attack other Bens, or blow up the Rust Bucket.
Teleportation: Just… Look at the scan there's not much else to say.
Weather Manipulation: Seemingly created a thunder strike when he first appeared.
Gravity Manipulation: Seemingly made rubble around him float in mid air.
Size Manipulation: Can grow in size, to the point of becoming the stars in the sky, He can also manipulate the size of objects, even something as big as the sun.
BFR: Remember that mindspace, Alien X can force you in there as if it was a domain expansion.
Portal Creation/Dimensional Travel: It’s stated he can travel through the omniverse, and most stories depict it through portals as does a lot of fan art.
Reality Warping, Life Creation, Existence Erasure, Memory Manipulation and Destruction: Can destroy the entire universe with just the wave of his hand, or through a giant explosion. His power should also be comparable to other Carnitrix Celestialsapians, who remade Carnitrix Ben's whole universe including the people who died and removed their memories of the event.
Celestialsapians also have many powers that Carnitrix Ben is never shown using but can definitely use them, these include…
Regeneration: Celestialsapians can regenerate pretty well, most notably being the Galactic Gladiator who could regenerate with the help of his mind/consciousness after being completely destroyed by a galaxy-sized black hole.
Telekinesis: Ben prime threw the Amalgam kids into a wall.
Mind Control: Ben prime controlled the Amalgam Kids and made them fight each other
Clairvoyance: Showed Ben where his friends were and the destruction of Pluto.
Duplication: Alien X duplicated himself a whole bunch of times to overwhelm The Gladiator. (The Ben 10 one not the Marvel one)
Fire Manipulation: Alien X can create fires that last for thousands of years.
Force Field Creation: X made one to block an attack from The Galactic Gladiator.
Law Manipulation: Celestialsapians can alter and manipulate the nature of Mana.
Time Manipulation: In his first appearance, Alien X reversed a flood and the destruction of a wall instantly.
So yeah, pretty overpowered. He even had enough power to take down pretty much any Ben who came his way till his terror was put to an end by Ben 10k using Atomic-X.

He’s got superhuman capabilities, can climb on walls, has a Spider Sense which alerts him of danger (but only sometimes i guess) and his immune system was so enhanced it let him fight off the infection for a while. And the virus usually infects a victim almost instantly so this is really impressive. Speaking of the virus…
The Hunger Virus
The Hunger, also known as the Hunger Virus by fans, is a sentient biological evolutionary, pan-dimensional cosmic contagion that targets superhumans, regardless of whether they’re simply superhumanly skilled or possess actual powers. The virus allows the infected to infect or feast on those who would regularly be unable to be devoured as long as they have a degree of sentience, ranging from machines such as Vision, to beings such as the almighty Galactus and The Watcher, despite being formed of energy. The Infection also makes him far tougher and survives injuries which would regularly kill him. From ripping off his leg, to being torn in half by Gladiator, to even peeling off his own skin. As you can tell this pretty much means Peter cant really feel pain, and brain trauma appears to do absolutely nothing to him, backed up by how trying to scramble their brains only stuns them. The virus also allows the Zombies to survive as just heads, but they still crave flesh despite the lack of a stomach.
Biological Webs
Much like Raimi’s Spider-Man, Peter could swing using his biological webs, however – when fighting Magneto, his webs dried out, but, luckily (or unluckily) he uh.. Had his muscle memory kick in, and excreted his own veins and arteries. Not a very good sight to behold…
Zombie Sense
Although it does not seem initially different from his Spider-Sense, it actually kinda is! It allows Peter to detect the presence of flesh, which allowed him to see through Mysterio’s illusions.
Enhanced Smelling
As shown in the image, Peter can smell what you’ve been eating as it courses through your body. How? Beats us but this is pretty useful if his opponents are hiding from him.
Power Cosmic
Arguably Peter’s greatest asset, is the unlimited energy of the Power Cosmic, or more accurately, the Soul of Galactus. Most known to be used by the Galactus and the Silver Surfer – We would go more in-depth about its history buuut, this isn’t a Galactus or Surfer blog.
In the original Marvel Zombie comic, he and the other Marvel Zombies initially acquired it when consuming the Silver Surfer, where they then used it to create a massive machine that would let them topple Galactus and consume his lot to gain true power. And then become the scourge of the universe, the Zombie Galacti… Or just “The Galactus” sometimes.
The Power Cosmic was stated in Annihilation War to replace the “aura” or “soul” of its wielders, meaning that they are effectively soulless, hey, Robert Kirkman’s Dead Days introduction WASN’T Hyperbole!
It is stated by the Silver Surfer himself that “To wield the Power Cosmic is to be in touch with every other living thing at once. It is to recognize that we aren't alone in the Universe... we alone are the Universe.”
Although the Zombies have generally mostly flew with it or shot out cosmic rays, this isn’t because they cannot access or do not know how to access its other abilities, but because they’re, y’know, out for FOOD, not transmuting some guy into chrome – speaking of which, let’s head straight to the main course, the POWERS!
Energy Absorption and Energy Projection: Peter usually uses this Power, along with his Cosmic Flight the most, usually expelling it in cosmic rays.
Flight: Not much else to say – he used this to traverse after his webs dried out.
Size Alteration: Its most notable user, Galactus, uses this quite often, to either size himself up or down, he once used it to reach the size of Wraithworld’s Black Sun.
Antimatter and Matter Manipulation: Wielders can use the Power Cosmic to control any and all matter, allowing them to alter the molecules of living or inanimate to do however they please, Galactus stated he would use this to turn Sue Storm invisible permanently, melt The Thing, and turn Johnny Storm into ice or make his electrons contract! It even works on intangible beings such as 1610’s Kitty Pride. And not only can they control regular matter, users can also control Antimatter! It can also be used to create life, to name a few.
Telepathy & Telekinesis: Wielders like Galactus have been able to peer into the minds of others, even engaging in a telepathic battle with Odin, others like the Surfer have channelled the Power Cosmic through their consciousness to create a blast of pure consciousness that reduced the Matrix of Pure Consciousness to nothingness. Surfer’s telekinesis is so powerful that it causes this.

Force-Field Creation: Wielders like Galactus use this to make a “Galactan Barrier” capable of defending from hits from the likes of Thor or The Thing. To add further, not even the Invisible Woman can disrupt the Power Cosmic’s force-fields. Luke Cage was also shown creating a force field at one point using it.
BFR: Silver Surfer once used Time Travel to trap someone he was facing in the past.
Power Modification: The Surfer modified Wonder Man’s ionic energy.
Hyperspace travel: The Surfer also once sent his thoughts through Hyperspace to Doctor Strange.
Enhanced Senses: A wielder’s senses become so potent that they can detect the path of a breeze from half a galaxy a way, sense the sparks of electrons on fingertips and the dopamine rushing through blood, to even sense shifts in the patterns of space or the individual qualities of energy.
Corrosion Inducement: When Doom wielded the Power Cosmic, he created a corrosive cloud that could eat away planes.
Memory Manipulation: Users of the Soul of Galactus can manipulate the memories of anyone, including their Herald.
Gravity Manipulation: Galactus once stagnated an entire Black Hole.
Power Nullification: Those who wield power cosmic have the ability to negate and suppress the powers of super powered and mutated foes. Making them unable to fight for a period of time.
Reality Warping: The mere presence of one with the Soul of Galactus causes reality to distort heavily, users such as Doctor Doom claim that their own imagination has become one with reality while using it.
Causality Manipulation: The influence of the Soul of Galactus can influence the past, present, and future of many realities all at once.
Perception Manipulation: Soul of Galactus wielders can change how they are perceived by the minds of others.
Existence Erasure: The presence of the Soul of Galactus causes anomalies which threaten to erase the afflicted from history, – ironically, Galactus used it on Spider-Man.

The REAL Wall crawler from the canon timeline you’re all most familiar with. Most of Zombie Spidey's life is based off his 616 self so it’s not the weirdest thing to assume he should be comparable to his canon counterpart. Plus the Sinister Six he fights in Returns is stated to be similar to the Sinister Six from Issue 68 of The Amazing Spider-Man. Although it’s very likely he downscales most of 616 Peters feats, I mean just look at the guy.

Pretty simple explanation here. Zombie Peter could fight many of The Marvel Zombies, both in base and with Power Cosmic. And he should 100% upscale a lot of the feats performed by characters when using Power Cosmic, so yeah.

But not only did Jason Voorhees tank Freddy's telekinesis blasts, while Freddy was pissed to the point of screaming ‘’Why Wont You Die!?’’ But Freddy in his fight with Ash was screaming with rage and saying stuff like “Enough screwing around” and ‘’ENOUGH ALREADY! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO KILL YOU ASSHOLES?!’’
Weaknesses
Carnitrix Ben
While his high kill count and endless amount of aliens may make you think Ben is invincible, he’s far from it. Ben wants nothing more than death, every transformation for him causes excruciating amounts of pain and will do whatever he can to stop it, even if it means erasing himself from the timeline. For weaknesses regarding the Carnitrix itself, for one the watch wasn’t even finished and was a rushed prototype made by Azmuth due to people being on his back and trying to kill him, which explains the fact that the watch lacks a fail safe function. If you're able to get out of the threat detection radius and blast Ben's arm off there is nothing the watch can do about it, which is exactly how Ben 10k took him out in canon.
Zombie Spider-Man
While Peter does appear to be the most heroic of the zombies, that doesn’t make him perfect at all. Despite his ravenous states of bloodlust, Peter is incredibly depressed and self-loathing as shown by the panel above, going as far as to use Sandman to kill not only the other Zombies, but himself. Speaking of which, Peter and the other Zombies’ only real weakness is that of the necrotic-tissue destroying nanomachines posthumously developed by 91126’s Tony Stark. Although Notably, the Hunger, while he has conquered it, is still very distracting and taxing on him, having lost control and accidentally killed Kraven while trying to be a hero again once.
Before The Verdict…
Does Carnitrix Scale To Ben Prime’s Alien X?
You may have noticed through the blog we scaled Carnitrix Ben to a few canon Ben 10 feats. But I bet you’re all probably wondering ‘’Where's Alien X? Doesn't Carnitrix Have access to a Celestialsapian?’’ Which is very fair, as Alien X has Multiversal to even Hyperversal capabilities. Unfortunately Carnitrix Ben should 100% not scale to any of that. While he is insanely strong it’s directly stated by canibal099 (The Creator of the Carnitrix AU) That Carnitrix Alien X is far weaker than Ben Prime’s Alien X, and pretty much any Celestialsapian due to Azmuth fusing his DNA with the Celestialsapians sample. This is further backed up by how he lost to Atomic-X, who is stated to be far weaker than Alien X. So no, Carnitrix should not scale to Ben Prime’s Alien X. Quite sad.
Verdict
Stats
Starting off with strength and durability for both, these two tortured heroes had many strength feats to their name, whether from actual feats they performed, or scaling to their canon counterparts. Starting with Ben, he easily hit into building level territory. With his many feats of destroying cars, reducing people to skeletons, surviving alleyway sized gas explosions, obliterating people while running at 700 km, which when converted to kinetic energy, would always be in the Large Building category no matter what. Going into higher stuff Ben could tank entire buildings being reduced to nothing, which would require a force of 62 - 124 Kilotons Of TNT and could most likely survive all Plumber weapons including the average rifle which can fire with the power of 3 Petawatts which easily hit into the town level range. This isn’t even inconsistent as Ben can reasonably scale to some canon Ben 10 Feats, through his fights with the villains and the fights with the many Bens. Such as Vilgax even in a weakened state surviving a nuclear warhead which reached into the Kiloton range, and Vilgax later on survived the destruction of the Chimerian Hammer which was about 2.7 Teratons Of TNT. And with certain alien species namely his To’Kustar form; Waybig. He should be comparable to the canon Waybig, who easily blocked the incursion conquest ray which once blew up Pluto which is about 60.4 Yottatons of TNT. This all of Ben's aliens at about Large Planet… the reason i say almost is because of the big space man himself; Alien X. With this form Ben was capable of becoming a starry night sky which is about 1.688 PetaFOE and X could even destroy entire dimensions and universes with the mere action of his hand moving. This put Carnitrix Ben in his celestialsapien form at Universal. Which is actually a first for these blogs! Good job buddy.
Now it’s time to compare this to his wall crawling, flesh eating opponent. Zombie Peter despite his rotting body was nothing to scoff at. He could easily dent in concrete walls like it’s nothing, reduce an an entire zombified Sinister Six to nothing in mere seconds, tanked Magneto lobbing a bunch of oil tankers at him which then exploded, which would most likely result in an energy with 350 Tons Of TNT, and through scaling to the other Zombies Peter being this high really wasn't all too strange as character such as Hulk and Sentry can shatter fragments of Skyscrapers which got to about 1.54 Kilotons Of TNT. Peter also molly whopped the Sinister Six of Earth-91126 which is directly stated to be pretty much identical to Earth 616. This means scaling Zombie Pete to Human Pete isn't the craziest idea ever, and 616 Spidey is capable of many feats which range from Large Town level to City level, namely him scaling to Carnage, who was able to contain the Gene Bomb which got to 3.7 Megatons Of TNT on a low end and 1.8 Gigatons Of TNT on a high end. All this together put Base Peter anywhere from City to Large Mountain… Keyword; Base. When using Power Cosmic, Peter should reasonably massively upscale all of these feats and has many more, from surviving the destruction of a Planet worth over 17 Yottatons Of TNT, to scaling to the other Zombies Namely the Sentry who was capable of hitting with the force of a million exploding suns and most impressively, breaking the dimensional barriers separating space-times to reach 2149. Considering he had to rip apart space and time this would mean this feat would be a Universal+ Feat. This is even crazier as Zombie Peter should also scale to the biggest opp in the world Zombie Hank Pym, who was shown being able to kill the Watcher who was generally compared to Galactus. This put Zombie Peter at Universal+ When using The Power Cosmic.
So on a low end Peter was 341.66 times more powerful (Using the XLR8 and Magneto Feat), and was also 2,110 times stronger on a mid end (Using the Petawatt statement and Carnage scaling) Although if Ben was in his Way Big form he would actually be 33.56 quadrillion times stronger than the Carnage feat due to his Pluto feat. But Zombie Peter matched this with Power Cosmic, with the Sentry Feat being over 19.6 sextillion times stronger than the Pluto feat. He even surpassed the power of Alien X’s universal feat with him scaling to Sentry's time ripping feat. So Peter is stronger than most of Bens Aliens in base and surpasses the power of Alien X with Power Cosmic, but what about speed?
Well these two didn't have much but we tried to gather what we could find. Starting with Ben as XLR8 he could run at 700 km or Subsonic+ fly around machine gun fire which is about Mach 1 or 2, and even as Diamondhead which is one of his slower forms, can run around a laser after it was fired which got to 2.948%c which was further backed up with him scaling to other Ben 10 villains like Z’Skayr who can avoid the sun gun which got to 35%c. But his best speed feat is scaling to Canon Waybig reacting to the incursion conquest ray, which travelled to Pluto in seconds calculated at 521.19c. Putting Ben at MFTL.
Now time for the dead web head. His speed feats were mainly through blitzing characters rather than dodging stuff, but him catching up to Quicksilver is the most impressive one as he should be comparable to his 2149 counterpart who ran around the whole Earth in a short time-frame calculated at 2.13%c. Oddly this was backed up by none other than Ash Williams from The Evil Dead, who reacted to sunlight as it moved down from the sky which is about 87%c which is super close to FTL. Which Peter does actually reach through blitzing the Sinister Six of Earth-91126 who were comparable to their 616 selves who regularly fought 616 Spider-Man, who could dodge various lightspeed attacks very consistently. Speaking of canon Spidey, 616 could also scale to Symbiote Dragons, who were able to fly from Klyntar to Earth in 2 weeks calculated at 1,565,359 c. This put Peter in his base form at MFTL+. But obviously this was far from his best speed feat, with his best being when he and The Marvel Zombies travelled from the edge of the galaxy to the Earth in an unknown but seemingly fairly short time-frame. This feat was 40 Trillion c on a low end and 81 Trillion c on a high end. Once again being MFTL+ But even higher this time!
We’re not gonna do the high ends and low ends for each feat here as you can generally just see who takes this just by looking at their sections so we’re just gonna compare the low end and high end of the Galaxy feat. On a low end Peter was over 76.69 billion times faster and on a high end was 155.79 billion times faster… Speed is never close in these blogs jesus.
Equipment And Abilities
These two alternate universe monsters had pretty diverse power sets, which allowed both to take their own categories with how they used them. For starters it’s pretty obvious just by reading through this blog that the Carnitrix just had… So much more versatility compared to what Peter brung to the table. Sure Peter had his spider powers, web shooters, zombie sense, enhanced smelling which was all fine and good, but then there's Ben who had over 17 different alien forms (discluding X) to choose from which offered him many haxes such as manipulating the elements, possession and mind telekinesis, manipulating technology, flying and even having age manipulation. And the watch would switch Ben between these forms throughout the battle which gave him much superior versatility, we all agreed Ben would 100% be controlling how the fight played out and would most likely be calling all the shots. But surprisingly Peter wasn't too outmatched in base. His web shooters combined with his biological webs meant he always had a way to traverse the battlefield while Ben only had certain aliens that could, he could match Bens ranged aliens with web projectiles, match the strength of aliens like Four Arms and Diamondhead with his fighting skill, see through Ghostfreak's mind tricks with his Zombie Sense, counter Wildmutts senses with his own senses and smelling, his Zombie Physiology combined with his biological webs meant he could always pull himself back together even if ripped apart, and his sand canister could most likely rip apart Ben's aliens on the subatomic level and while the watch can allow Ben to regenerate from insane injuries, it’s never done it on that level. Although this would end up killing Peter as well but… Hey, it's something!
But of course all these powers pale in comparison to Ben and Peters best option; Alien X and Power Cosmic. These two cosmic level powers granted Ben and Peter almost identical sets of powers, such as flight, energy manipulation, force fields creation, size manipulation, BFR, gravity manipulation, telekinesis, reality warping, existence erasure etc. Although both had certain powers that the other didn't, that would help them a ton. Ben could duplicate himself to try to overwhelm Peter with, use clairvoyance or mind control to know what Peter's next move is, reverse any damage Peter did with time manipulation, and simply erase Peter From existence. These all seem like pretty clear cut win cons right? Yes but there were a few problems, first let’s not forget Peter had many haxes that could work on Ben. Peter could manipulate the matter of all of X’s attacks, could use cosmic awareness to know everything X was going to do as well, erase X’s memories and make him forget who he even is, and had two ways of taking down Ben that have in lore shown to work. For one, he could use his power nullification to negate and suppress the powers of the Carnitrix which would revert Ben back to his human form for a short period of time leaving him wide open for an attack. Which WOULD work as the watch lacks any type of failsafe. And for the second one, Peter could use his causality manipulation to alter Ben's past and stop him from finding the watch which would result in him being erased from existence, aka; Exactly how Ben died at the end of the AU. And Peter could very well think of these with his high intellect, mind reading, and cosmic awareness. You may be asking ‘Well Ben has his own haxes that could one-shot Spidey, why are Peters so good?’ Well it’s these simple final points that really helped us decide a verdict.
1. Peter actually had control of his powers and had the mind of a skilled fighter, Ben was being controlled by presumably Azmuth but it seems even he was falling victim to the animalistic settings of the watch. This meant if one were to think of using their win cons first, it would be Spidey.
2. The Carnitrix only transforms Ben into his alien forms if it detects any signs of life, it’s shown in the Marvel Zombies comics that while the Zombies are able to move, their bodies appear to be corpses. They no longer feel pain, their skin is pale, their hearts stopped pumping, etc. As Logan simply puts it ‘We’re dead but we’re not dying’ So you could argue the watch wont even pick up Peter being in Ben's general area, which would allow him to kill Ben with his far superior stats before he has the chance to attack. Speaking of stats, that transitions nicely into the final point.
3. Peter is far, far, FAR faster. Meaning he would do these options before X could. This also means he could simply blitz Ben before the watch could react, as it’s never shown reacting to something as fast as Peter.
So to simply put it, while Ben's alien forms gave him far better battle control, and Alien X offered him powers which countered some of the Power Cosmics. Peter had his own counters to specific aliens, Power Cosmic offered him far more options, including ones which have shown to work on Ben, and his own physiology actually counterred the Carnitrix itself.
Tertiary Factors
This ones pretty simple to explain. Ben only had his powers for a few months, or even a year at best while Peter had his for over 40 years. While Ben was pretty smart if we compared him to his canon counterpart, he could never actually use these smarts due to how the watch worked and even if he could Peter's scientific brain was far above Bens. Although his Galvan form would put him on a similar intellect level to Peter so that is useful. Peters fighting style was also far better than the Carnitrix’s animalistic aliens, as Peter even just in Marvel Zombies could fight on par with several aliens, and even come up with some clever plans such as when he fried Electro with his own lightning by using Doc Ock's arms as a conductor. And when it came to their weaknesses, Bens were much easier to exploit than Peters as shown in Equipment And Abilities, while all Peters weaknesses were stuff such as him being self loathing (Which Ben also is) being weak to subatomic manipulation (Something Ben lacked many ways of doing) and the hunger was very distracting (But the hunger would also make him hold back less, which screwed over Ben more than Peter)
So Yeah. Peter also takes this round.

Advantages:
Far more options, and was an overall more versatile combatant.
Alien X offered Ben many powers which could one shot Peter, namely time manipulation and existence erasure.
X also allowed Ben to match many of Power Cosmics abilities, Ie; energy manipulation, size manipulation, BFR, telekinesis, reality warping, existence erasure etc.
Can match Peter’s intelligence with Grey Matter…
His Alien forms meant he would have far greater control over the battlefield and he’d most likely be calling all the shots…
Some of the designs for the aliens are phenomenal.
The creator loves silly little cats.
Disadvantages:
Was far weaker in the stat trinity no matter which way you sliced it.
Certain abilities Peter had in base could counter a lot of his alien forms.
Spidey’s Sand Canister would kill him instantly if he did decide to use it.
His threat detection arguably wouldn't pick up on Peter due to him being a walking dead corpse.
Power Cosmics abilities like power nullification and causality manipulation have shown to work on him and would work again.
His animalistic fighting style was awful when compared to Peter's actual training.
Had far less experience than Spidey.
…But without the form he wasn't even close to being as smart as Peter.
… But Peter's stats, intellect and powers meant he always had an answer.
His life sucks.
The Chaquetrix AU. (He crossed over with it a lot for some reason)
Zombie Spider-Man
Advantages:
Takes the stat trinity in both base, and their cosmic forms.
Certain abilities given to him by The Hunger Virus gave him a few counters to some of Ben's Aliens.
His Zombie Physiology meant the Carnitrix would arguably not even detect Peter as a threat.
Power Cosmic gave him abilities that could easily kill Ben, such as power nullification and causality manipulation.
It also allowed him to match many of X’s powers Ie; energy manipulation, size manipulation, BFR, telekinesis, reality warping, existence erasure etc.
The Sand Canister would kill Ben at the subatomic level, meaning he had 0 way of regenerating…
Was far smarter than Ben and most of his alien forms…
Was a far greater fighter, and had actual control over himself most of the time unlike Ben.

Fought against 20,000 bloodlusted silverback gorillas and won.
Disadvantages:
Was overall a less versatile fighter and has far less options.
Time manipulation and existence erasure would work on Peter and could kill him if Ben pulled them off.
… But it would end up killing him along with Ben as well.
… But his intellect could be matched by Grey Matter.
His life sucks.
Honestly this verdict was VERY surprising. Going into this most of us were expecting the opposite result. But alas we were wrong!
While Ben was an incredibly versatile opponent, who actually had many ways of matching Peter's advantages and could even kill him with certain haxes. Peters superior stats, amazing abilities, ultimate mind, and his spectacular counters allowed him to be ten leagues above Ben and any Trix he threw his way. Leaving Ben with nothing but the feeling of losing, forever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever.
