Ed, Edd n Eddy Vs. Eddsworld.

If your friends don’t make fun of you, they’re not really your friends M. Prefontaine

Ed, Edd n Eddy, The unlucky, trouble causing, havoc wreaking, scam artists of Peach Creek.

Edd, Tom and Matt, Durdam Lane’s insane trio who make every adventure a key part of their world.

Friends, pals, buddies, homies, allies, amigos, call them what you will. I think pretty much everyone reading this has some kind of group of friends you do all sorts of stuff with! Whether it be going to the park, watching movies, drinking at the bar, playing video games, or even making silly vs blogs! (Couldn't be me) But I doubt any of you readers go on insane adventures with them (Feel free to correct me if i’m wrong if you do any of the following) like running insane scams, going to hell, becoming construction workers, going to space, travelling through time itself, etc. Welp, you may not, but these two trios do this stuff DAILY. Whether it be caused by the irresponsible leaders, the sarcastic smart guys, or the idiotic goofy dudes who are dragged into everything, they’ll always have each others back through thick and thin till The ED of the WORLD! Ehhhh, get it! (That’s terrible)

But then that begs the question, if these two tremendous trios from the golden era of cartoons/web animations were to fight against each other using all their tools, abilities, and teamwork… Who’d win? Welp, I’ve come back from the dead to answer that question we know you’ve all probably been asking (You guys probably haven't but shhhhh)

So grab your Gravy, Cola, Jawbreakers, and Broccoli, and get ready for one Edcelent battle!!!

I’ll stop with the Ed puns. I'm sorry.

Before We Begin…

For this blog, in the idea of having the most amount of fun as possible, we’ll be using pretty much all media these 6 have starred in. The Ed Boys will be gaining their original show, their TV movie, various video games both console made and flash ones, their comic books, various bumpers, and even crossovers like Super Secret Crisis War will be factored in here. Although we should note, The Ed Boys will only receive abilities, and tools that they receive in those comics as opposed to fully scaling them to the people they meet. So no Alien X or Aku scaling, ik very sad. Also despite composting The Ed’s, material made by the show's original creator Danny Antonucci such as the original series, The Mis-Edventures, and the movie will take priority. So don't expect The Ed’s best feats to come from the back of a cereal box or something.

As for The Eddsworld Gang, they’ll be given the Eddsworld animations on youtube, even older ones like Edd vs. Tom and such. Alongside this, they’ll be given all their comic books on the official Eddsworld website, their various flash games on newgrounds, the official Eddsworld twitter account posts, and pretty much whatever we can find.

Oh also, considering we’re dealing with six whole characters here, we’re gonna be splitting most of their stuff into sections. Stuff each individual member has, and then stuff they fully share. And for links well

Background

Ed, Edd n Eddy

"World Record? He's a hack! True records are set by professionals. Like Ed, Edd And Eddy!"

During the early 2000’s, Cartoon Network was king. I mean, what kid didn't love waking up on a Saturday morning with a bowl of cereal and sitting in front of their TV to watch their favourite cartoons. But among all those foolish samurais, secret laboratories, and alien powered 10 year olds, there were 3 best friends who’d make every day as fun as could be. Whistle Ed, Edd n Eddy!

Friends since they first moved into the town of Peach Creek, they all quickly formed a bond over their shared names, and began hanging out whenever they could. Spending most of their time hanging out, playing around, and trying their best to get the most delicious candy in the world; Jawbreakers! And obviously to gain these oversized candies we’d need a team of real geniuses of course, and do we have that? Umm… Sorta.

Firstly we have Ed Horace who is pretty much your lovable little goofball. While he’s not much in terms of brains at all, he makes up for it with his comical amounts of strength. He’s usually the one doing the heavy lifting of the group, if he’s not doing his other hobbies at that moment like watching horror movies, reading comics, drinking gravy, petting chickens, etc. He’s also got a heart of gold, always being kind and polite to whoever he meets, but don’t dare make him upset unless you want to get into Big Trouble!

Next there's Edd Marion, more famously known as Double D, who is the exact opposite of Ed. While he’s beyond useless in a fist fight, he more than makes up for that with his intellect. He’s basically a child prodigy, always crafting up really weird inventions and tinkering around with stuff around him. Or just doing other stuff like collecting butterflies, tending to his insect collection, etc. Although his big brains and lack of muscle does get him pushed around a lot, even by his friends like Eddy, but as many say ‘Brains Over Brawn’

Finally we have Eddy Skipper, the self proclaimed leader of the group. While he’s not that large, he loves to believe he’s always in charge, as he’s constantly scheming up plans, and always pushing The Eds to go along with his scams. He’s pretty much the man with the plan who causes them to get into most of the messes The Ed’s find themselves in, and is almost always the one who pays the price for these various scams. But he’d much rather you pay him in quarters.

Speaking of their scams, that's what The Ed’s do best. They’ll do literally everything besides make a good business so that they can earn their candy cash. Whether these scams are making fake ice cream, running crappy lemonade stands, opening cheap restaurants and club houses, mowing lawns, delivering newspapers, making hand-made boat rides, becoming cowboys, going to space, or even building an entire city out of nothing but cardboard. While these do come in a large quantity and some are frankly insane, they’re all made up scams that caused the kids of The Cul-De-Sac they lived in to lose their money. And one day, they did a scam so bad we never got to see what it was on screen. All we know is that it made The Cul-De-Sac mad. REALLY mad. To the point The Ed’s were forced to flee their own homes and seek home somewhere else

And being the schemer he is, Eddy had a plan. You see through the whole series, Eddy was constantly talking about his older brother. He supposedly taught Eddy all the tricks he knew and was an absolute badass who’d send whoever was chasing The Ed’s back home in a body bag. So The Ed’s went on a long journey to Eddy's Big Brother's house, going through many obstacles and hardships as they went, but thankfully they made it! Although they were soon to discover that the biggest obstacle was just at their finish line. You see in reality Eddy's older brother was nothing like the stories he told, and was actually just an abusive asshole who physically beat Eddy up in front of all his friends and The Cul-De-Sac kids which made them all feel awful, thankfully The Ed’s alongside the other kids stood up to Eddy's Big Bro and took him down with a door slam to the face, and once Eddy's brother hit the ground so did The Ed’s bad reputation. As they were finally accepted among the other kids and became popular after all this time.

While Eddy lost his love and respect for his older brother that day, was he really Eddy's brother at all? Sure they were related, but blood doesn't make family. Those are relatives. Family are those with whom you share your good, bad, and ugly, and still love one another in the end. And considering what Ed, Edd n Eddy have been through I'd say they've got as much as that, as there are sprinkles of sugar in a Jawbreaker.

Eddsworld

"It’s Pretty Swell!"

From the day Edd Gould was born, he was trouble. He was the thorn in his mothers side, and despite her trying in vain, it never caused her nothing but shame. With Edd leaving home the day she died, and from the day she was gone, all he wanted was rock and roll porn, and a motorbike while shooting up junk, cause he was a low down cheap little punk that was taking everyone for the ride!

At least, that's his fictional counterpart's backstory. Born in Isleworth London, Edd loved doodling and making fun animations, to the point he made a parody of the 1922 film Wayne's World which he simply titled Eddsworld. With its production being helped by Edds close personal friends, those being Thomas Ridgewell and Matt Hargreaves.

These animations followed Edd and his friends' exaggerated moronic cartoon counterparts in their many misadventures living in a house right on Durdam Lane. The cast consisted of Edd, a Coca-Cola loving artist who acted as the leader of the group, Tom, a rude eyeless alcoholic who acted as the straight man of the team, and Matt, a clumsy self obsessed idiot who acted as the gangs funny little comic relief (Despite them all kinda filling those shoes quite well)

As stated the series centered around them all going on fun little adventures that were pretty common, like fighting off zombies, taking vacations to hell, thwarting ghosts, going to space and meeting aliens, fighting massive robots, taking on a zombified version of Santa whose committing terrorism, becoming superheros and fighting monster versions of each other, running away from evil future versions of themselves, and getting sent to a pocket dimension for being a Jehovah witness. Why are you reading that like everything I said there was bizarre? Anyways these adventures kept going, up until one day The Gang were met with an old friend; Tord.

Tord was an old member of the original gang, he was a Norwegian, hentai addict with a really bad trigger finger. This attitude resulted in him and Tom not really getting along, so when Tord announced he was moving back in, Tom was not really pleased at all and instantly moved out to find a new place. Meanwhile, Tord had secretly been working with a secret organisation known as The Red Army with plans of taking over the planet, with him only moving back in to gain his secret underground giant robot he had been hiding for years. He instantly destroyed the house as soon as they found out, and seemingly killed Tom. Luckily he survived and was able to land a lucky shot on Tords mech with a harpoon gun, also luckily is that Tom did indeed find a place. It was a shabby apartment with a room for each one of the boys, and while they don't technically live in the same house anymore, that's not slowed down their bond or love of going on adventures.

So despite changing so much over the years, both in lore and in terms of the series' real production, they’ve never slowed down for a second. They’re both held up and kept going through nothing but passion and love, all to make their world keep on spinning for as long as they can dream. And that's… Pretty Swell.

Skill & Experience

Ed, Edd n Eddy

Ed

Ed is the least brightest of the 3, and probably the least brightest of… all the kids in The Cul-De-Sac. Basically if you want some good intellect and book smarts, Ed is not your guy. But if you want some great fighting prowess and skill, he’s surprisingly got you covered.

He’s got a really weird and crazy imagination, mainly due to his constant binges of watching horror movies (He just like me) which he’s used for pretty good combat. When in his ‘Lothar’ persona, he saw every kid in Peach Creek as some kind of movie monster which allowed him to take them on in a battle, utilising stuff like stop signs, spatchulas, and even steaks. He’s also taken on the Cul-De-Sac other times, sometimes as a Godzilla-esc monster that used luring tactics and spat out cereal to trap opponents, or other times where he was simply just having a bad day. Ed has also shown skills in archery, and he can be a good quick thinker at times, shown when he took down Eddy's older brother by using the environment to his advantage. He also ran for president once.

Double D

Remember how I said you’re not getting booksmarts with Ed? Well add another D and you can get that with Double D.

Double D is the brains of the bunch, usually the one who makes the ideas Eddy makes possible. He’s a genius inventor, crafting lie detectors out of toasters, Inspector Gadget boots out of books, planes out of junk, and his whole house is littered with Wallace and Gromit-like contraptions. He’s also pretty adept in chemistry and likes fiddling around with chemicals, once even making a soda that would never lose its fizz by affecting its atomic structure. He also knows many tactics for fights despite usually being a wimp, like using Reverse Psychology to scare his opponent, and he once was even trained in wrestling under the identity of ‘The Masked Mumbler’ Where he took on Lee Kanker, and taking on one of The Kanker sisters is a feat on it’s own, as they’re generally feared by most kids within The Cul-De-Sac. Oh yeah and Double D is skilled at playing the pedal steel guitar. It will come in handy trust.

Eddy

While all the other Ed Boys skills help make their plans become a reality, Eddy is the man who makes those plans.

Eddy is the self-proclaimed leader of the trio, and is a smug schemer who will do everything in his energy to earn just a bit of money off his scams. Speaking of schemes and scams, that Eddys speciality. Eddy is a master scammer, tricking most of The Cul-De-Sac kids into his various plots, not even squirrels are safe. He’s also a master manipulator, and has tricked almost every character in the show at least once, sometimes even multiple times. Such as when he made up the rumour of Mucky Boys, or when he fooled everyone into going back into their bad habits during a bet to not do them, or even the time he fooled the entire Cul-De-Sac into believing it was still summer even as school was approaching a day later. Eddy’s also got other talents like being pretty adept in stealth, being skilled in improvisation, can build a few neat looking contraptions, and he’s kinda horrifyingly good at a surprising amount of torture methods… Jeez.

Eddsworld

Edd

Usually the leader, probably the first of them all to poke fun. Edd is the main man of the group, as the show's name implies and he’s armed with many skills that make him worthy of that title.

Edd, as the theme song states, is a skilled artist and has pretty good creativity, which has helped him in many scenarios. Such as when he was cornered by his future self so he used stuff around him to quickly get away, like blasting him with coca cola, deflecting his lasers with a framed photo, or simply bashing him in with Toms guitar. He’s also intelligent and skilled in many other ways than just being creative. Such as being skilled with firearms, is a yellow belt in karate, can fly a helicopter perfectly, once fooled Tord into going on a long adventure to find him only to be met with a bomb to the face, has tricked military guards, convinced aliens, and he can speak a little bit of Norwegian.

Tom

Tom's intellect is strange. Maybe it’s his smarts or maybe it’s his tude. And this isn't me just quoting the intro, this guy can go from explaining climate change in an incredibly detailed way, to being painfully oblivious to his current surroundings.

Beyond this, he’s usually the most level headed of the group and when he’s at his highs he is pretty smart. He’s created pretty good plans and strategies to take on hordes, crafted a Zombeh killing vehicle out of a bath that he and The Gang dubbed ‘The Bathmobile’ can directly talk to his own brain for ideas on stuff, has graduated from the school of awesome, has quickly adapted to Zantas Sleigh in a few hours and was able to battle a giant mech with it, was able to hit Tord’s flying robot dead-on right after being hit by a missile, and he can play a mean ass bass solo.

Matt

Matt ain’t that intelligent. Although he doesn't know that word because he’s got the intelligence of the kitchen shelf.

But yeah Matt is… kind of stupid to say the least. He quickly forgets things that have happened, has forgotten his own friends names, has had his own pranks that HE setup backfire on him, and has uh… Really, really weird habits. But Matt is not a complete idiot, especially in a fight. He once stole the emergency coke so The Gang would help him, tricked a Zombeh into playing carnival games, noticed Tords machine controlling buttons were nearby and used them to stop him from getting away, created an army of Zombeh’s due to being bored, in the future he apparently invented time travel, fought off the military as a weird Lobster monster, is pretty good at juggling heavy items, and he even had enough willpower to read an Eddsworld fan fiction from start to end. Truly a noble man.

Equipment

Ed, Edd n Eddy

Ed

Coat

Ed’s very own coat is a good way of storing things. It can become a fridge, and it appears to store endless amounts of gravy related items. Yummy.

Magic Shoe

Ed’s Magic Shoe! Okay it’s not that magic, or magical at all. It just stinks really bad and can knock you out cold for an extended period of time.

Bow

A bow Ed owns. Guess he forgot the arrow however, as he’ll use vases, tennis rackets, Eddy himself and pretty much everything besides an arrow.

Wind Up Toy

A little wind up toy Ed owns that he can wind up to cause tons of destruction. It can carve through an entire sofa and even a hole in Eddys chest.

Baron O' Beef Dip

Another toy Ed owns. While it’s initially nothing special, it has a string he can pull out the back which causes it to breathe fire. So it would probably act as a useful flamethrower type weapon.

Grapple Hook

Moving onto inventions crafted by Double D Ed has, he wields a grappling hook. Crafted with kitchen utensils and a hair dryer, Ed can use this in conjunction with his very own tongue to clear large gaps and sneak into places like a special agent.

Experimental Bubble Gum

A gum crafted by Double D that is pretty hard to chew, not for Ed however. As he can easily gobble this thing, even blowing a massive ever expanding bubble that can contain people and grant him flight, turning him into a human hot air balloon.

Sub-Zero Battlesuit

During a spooky scary alien invasion in The Cul-De-Sac (Not really) Ed dawned this useful armour. It was crafted by Double D after reading Ed’s comics, and is used to protect Ed from their powerful heat vision. Cold burritos and peas protect you from actual lasers I guess.

Sheldon & Various Other Lucky Charms

"Stinky Hat!"

Ed has a knack for carrying around lucky charms, which are all for some reason really smelly stinky rotten food. His main one is a rotten piece of cheese Ed calls Sheldon. It’s a horrible 57 day aged dairy product that has a stench so bad it’s been compared to a dead corpse, made all of Double D’s colour melt from his outline like ice cream, caused Double D to be reduced to ash, and it even caused nearby fish to instantly DIE. Meaning yes, Ed’s stupid ass piece of cheese carries Death Manipulation. Although it would likely take longer for a stronger opponent, considering it did only kill weak little fish. And while I’m still here, I should mention it’s been shown rotten stenches in Ed, Edd n Eddy can harm and kill souls, meaning Sheldon might carry soul destruction. Although this was a stench Double D had to create over time using gabrage, muddy puddles, expired milk and just… Cow shit. But it’s worth noting.

And that's not where it ends, as at the end of the episode Ed reveals he also has Angus who was a rotten dead fish that he stated was more than lucky, most likely meaning it’s an upgraded Sheldon. He also has Sheldon Jr who is just a small Sheldon. Either way, having multiple orders that can kill opponents with its pure stench is pretty handy.

Misc Melee Weapons

Due to being the most physical of the bunch, it makes sense Ed has carried a multitude of melee weapons. Such as his claw, a shovel, a stop sign, a spatchula, a tree stump, a rake, a hockey stick, a trash can, and even Eddy will be used as a weapon by Ed.

Double D

Hat

His iconic black hat he always sports. What's under is apparently pretty ugly, but what is it? We’ll likely never know. It’s also not even the best hat in the show, sorry Double D.

Metal Detector

Just a simple Metal Detector Double D has. It can locate metal and it’d probably make for a good battering item.

Slingshot

"Fine. But It’ll Be On YOUR Guilty Conscience!"

A slingshot Double D uses throughout The Mis-Edventures. Its main ammunition is water balloons, and it’s used to hit targets from far away or activate switches The Ed’s can't normally reach.

Toaster Lie Detector

Moving onto his inventions that he’s used for himself, Double D used a toaster and a lightbulb, it’s a lie detector. It detects if you're lying. Crazy ik.

Newspaper Shooter

A little machine Double D crafted when he realised delivering Newspapers was gonna take a while. It basically acts as a cannon, firing newspapers at high speeds and when it malfunctions it fires even faster with enough force to shatter windows. Ed even shot himself out of it, proving it’s not just limited to Newspapers besides its name.

Magnet

Just a pretty big magnet modified by Double D. It has great range, pulling people's boomboxes, and even Jimmy due to his metal retainer. Keep in mind it was doing this while all its targets were both below, and a good few meters away from Double D.

Hoverpack

A fad Double D created. I say created but it’s just kind of a fan which launches you around, which is pretty useful for mobility but you can easily crash if you're not careful. Pretty handy though.

The Quarter Remover

Double D’s proposal. It’s basically a large excavator which he used to try to dig up a small quarter which had been stuck to the ground all day, and it actually made a huge ass hole in the ground. But sadly the quarter didn't move an inch, but that’s to be expected from something that can tank the almighty 3 shoe beating. Either way it’s a useful item, even if it's pretty big meaning it’s not easy to carry around.

Misc Melee Weapons

Despite easily being the wimpiest of the 3, Double D has carried a few tools that he can use if he’s forced into close quarters combat. These include stuff like his pet cactus Jim, a ruler which he uses as a sword, and an actual fucking lightsaber.

Eddy

Camera

A camera Eddy owns, which he can use to take pictures obviously. Except the flash from the camera is so bright, it blinds and disorientates whoevers hit by it. It can also hit multiple foes at once and knock them off screen.

Alien Vacuum

During The Cul-De-Sacs apparent Alien Invasion, Eddy crafted this useful tool which he would use to vacuum up aliens and show them off to folk, becoming rich in the process. It never actually happened due to there being no aliens, but it’s a useful weapon nonetheless.

The El Mongo Stink Bomb

"I Stink, Therefore I Am!"

Taught to Eddy by his older brother, it’s The El Mongo Stink Bomb, the ultimate prank. It’s a giant car sized stink bomb, which can release a shockwave of stench that can spread across an entire neighbourhood in seconds, causing The Cul-De-Sac kids to run and hide from the stink. Eddy also carries smaller versions of these bombs, which he can use as useful projectiles.

Armenian Secret Hot Sauce

A secret Hot Sauce gifted to Eddy by his big bro. While seemingly not doing anything after first consuming, it lives up to its title of being a real gut burner after a while as it can cause very, very, VERY deadly spices. With it making Double D fume with smoke, reducing Ed’s entire head to shrivelled ash, and turning the strings on Eddy's hair into igniting flames that created an explosion.

Walking Braces

Elevation Boots Double D created for Eddy to help him appear taller. With just the press of a remote control, Eddy can increase his height to great levels to score in basketball, crush his foes, smash through concrete, and even send himself into outer space. Which means these useful boots have incredible range.

Baking Powder Vapor Barrier

Seemingly a normal Jawbreaker, but in actuality is a smoke bomb created by Double D. It’s pretty fragile but that's good, as it releases a large explosion of dust that can destroy an entire house, allowing Eddy to leave his opponent blinded with a wide AOE attack.

Hypnotizing Hat

A random spinning wheel The Ed’s came across, which they found out has incredible hypotonic abilities, So Eddy took it for himself and strapped the wheel to a hat, turning said hat into a useful hypnotising weapon.

The hat as its name implies, incudes hypnotic effects on whoever's hit by it, allowing Eddy to control whoevers hit by it. They can make them believe they’re a monkey, a frog, a giant-man eating noodle, etc. The hypnosis even affects your body, as it made Jimmy large and buff, shifted Kevins face into that of an apes, granted Rolf the ability to fly, and it can even freeze you right in place, allowing Eddy to deal damage while you're stunned. However if you simply just don’t look into the wheel, or have something covering your eyes, it’s mind control will fail to work on you.

The Cursed Phone

A phone once owned by Rolf, which apparently haunted him and his family for generations. Eddy took it for himself, not thinking much of it, which was a pretty bad idea.

Turns out, Rolf was being dead serious. As every time the phone rings and is picked up, bad luck will happen to you. Such as discs going flying towards you, bikes coming out of nowhere and crashing into you, being hit by a stampede of hippos, getting sprayed by a skunk, and even simply being run over by a truck.

Night Of The Living Ed Tools

In the flash game ‘Night Of The Living Ed’ Eddy gains many little items he can buy from Double D to help him in his journey against the spooky little monsters invading The Cul-De-Sac. There are a few I won't mention, like The Manhole detector as those aren't really useful in a fight. Anyway, these items include…

Misc Melee Weapons

Like the other Ed’s, Eddy has many, many misc weapons which he can use to fight close up with. Such as giant hammers, a chain wallet to attack from a distance, a giant fish which he failed to use against Rolf, a large shovel to bash someone's door in with, a bunch of beehives to help you dance. and much more.

Shared Items

Jawbreakers

One of the greatest cartoon foods to ever be convinced, it’s an oversized Jawbreaker bought straight from Peach Creek's local candy store. And it’s worth only one lousy quarter!

While all they seem to do is simply make The Ed Boys happy, and keep them motivated, there's a reason they’ve spent 142 Episodes and a movie trying to get these suckers. Jawbreakers are plenty useful in a fight, while the normal ones only heal The Ed Boys, they have a large variety of others that can do many more things. Including…

Healing Items

Jawbreakers are far from the only edible healing items in The Ed Boys pockets. As they have stuff like Chunky Puffs, Burgers, Marshmallows, and even Hot Sauce that fills up their super meters.

Canadian Squirt Guns

"Canadians Are Weird!"

A lot of turkey baster- I mean squirt guns straight from the home of the show's creator; Canada! They’re simple, fill it with water and shoot. They’re also pretty good in combat, with Eddy using them as a sheriff to land insane shots by shooting them through kids ears and Double D even combined them into a large turret-esc mini gun, which he got really into.

Laser Guns

Mechanical sub-atomic blasters crafted from junk which The Ed’s use to shoot at opponents with strange electrical energy. This was all mostly in their imagination, but we’ll explain why that doesn't mean too much later on.

Montezuma's Free Range Manure

Borrowed from Eddy's dad, it’s a large bag of manure which is pretty damn strong. Making mushrooms form from shoes, and can cause grass around The Ed's to grow incredibly quickly, which could be pretty useful in combat.

Special Goggles

Special goggles The Ed’s used to cheat at a game of hide and seek. They were goggles that track people through their body’s heat, essentially heat seeking goggles. They also have an alternate function that allows them to use X-Ray vision, which is pretty awesome.

Jetpack

It’s a jetpack created by Double D using a fire extinguisher and funnel. It grants them flight as you’d expect, not much else to it beyond that.

The Boomerang

A mysterious boomerang that somehow ended up in The Cul-De-Sac. Upon making contact with it however, it can completely change how you think and generally just how your mind works. It turned Ed from an idiot, to a complete genius, it made Double D a streaker, and it also made Eddy act like a caring mother. Although, it seems to only work on the person currently holding the boomerang.

The Thing-A-Majig

One of The Ed’s strangest yet most useful tools. It’s a small strange ball contraption that can dispense anything your heart desires. And no that's not speaking in hyperboles, as it can produce hats, chairs, boxing gloves, chattering teeth, etc. All very useful, as The Ed’s could use this to summon pretty much whatever really.

Gold Stopwatch

A useful tool The Ed’s can pick up in the Gameboy Advance games. When used, it freezes all moving enemies on screen in place, allowing The Ed Boys to do whatever for a bit while time is frozen. Although moving projectiles and stuff seem to be unaffected.

Eddsworld

Edd

Coca-Cola

"Once Again, Coke Saves The Day!"

Edd’s favourite soda, something he will and has killed for. It’s a nice refreshing drink that Edd has weaponized many times before. Like blasting opponents with large gallons of it, drinking it and burping so loud it knocks over nearby turraine, or just simply smacking someone in the face with it.

Zombeh Shovel

Edd’s most iconic weapon. It’s a simple shovel he’ll use to bash any Zombeh’s skulls in with, or throw like a boomerang to dismember multiple Zombeh’s at a range. He can also do this badass spinny thing with it, very cool.

Firearms

He’s an old newgrounds character, of course he has guns. But yeah, throughout his adventures Edd has wielded a multitude of firearms, these include…

Giant Magnet

A comically large magnet Edd owns, which was so potent it pulled a large spaceship heading into space right towards him.

The Normalizer

A metallic robotic laser blaster Edd stole from a group of aliens. It’s basically a healing gun, as it can cause lost limbs to instantly grow back, and it can even turn Tom's eyes back to normal.

Space Face Pen

A magic pen Edd gave himself while in ‘The Desire Room’ With it he can draw whatever he wants, instantly bringing it to life. Whether it be a butterfly, a not so pretty looking lady, or even a simple disguise to fool said lady. While one may argue this is something Edd can only use in the desire room, he’s shown using it even when outside.

Even then, Edd has other magic pencils which allow him to draw back entire missing limbs, and even erase someone's face. Although it’s not as cartoony as you’d expect.

Paint Thinner

Speaking of erasing, Edd has this store bought cream which is usually used for spots. But it acts as paint thinner, pretty potent to have against a cartoon character I suppose.

Nightmare Fuel

Edd has literal nightmare fuel, which makes whatever machine he pours it into become a horrific nightmarish version of itself that will attack anything near it.

The Eddbot

A robotic version of Edd, which apparently believes itself to BE Edd meaning he’s probably capable of all things Edd is. Bro is Metal Sonic.

Misc Melee Weapons

Edd has used a multitude of melee weapons through his adventures if things got rough. Such as chainsaws, axes, dual meat cleavers, a sword, a rubber chicken, and even a hammer that can repair wounds.

Tom

Susan

"Oh Baby, I’ve Missed You!"

Tom's beloved guitar that he does not want anyone besides him using. While it seems useless, it has been used time and time again as a pretty great melee weapon. Although it is much to Tom’s disliking.

Alcohol

Tom likes to drink, he likes to drink a lot. So it makes sense that he’s weaponised the beverages he spends most of his time drinking, such as using them to stab foes, or create molotov cocktails to burn Zombehs… Well if he doesn't drink all the booze out of said bottles yet.

Firearms

Despite being the most calm of the group, he’s still a gun toting maniac. Santa had it coming, anyway.

Harpoon Gun

One of Tom's other favourite things, his harpoon gun. He bought it from a bunch of pirates by selling Edd’s living room sofa, and he claims it’s better than spoons too.

It’s pretty useful in combat, having two functions. One where it shoots out on a rope to grab and pull stuff towards Tom like a whole entire whale, or one where the harpoon shoots out like an arrow to impale something, such as when he used it against Tords robot.

Flamethrower

A flamethrower Tom owns which can disperse a gigantic flame capable of reducing someone to char in seconds. And yes, it is awesome.

Grow Your Own Beach Hunk

Used during Surf and Turf, it's strange… Things Tom can add water to, which turns said things into beach hunks. Really disgusting, fragile beach hunks.

Magic Penny

A penny Tom picked up which is actually magic and sentient. It’s pretty useful as it can grant Tom wishes like a genie. Although if you wish for something like infinite wishes, it explodes due to utter shock.

Spoon-Powered Time Machine

It’s a time machine Tom owns, which even he admits makes no sense. All he simply has to do is put a spoon in the little barrel on the left, and boom! He can travel to any point in time wants, pretty cool.

Button

It’s a button Tom owns, if he presses it the comic ends and everything around him is destroyed into a white void… Cool!

Misc Melee Weapons

Tom is the most easy to anger out of the three, so it's not hard to guess that he owns many, many melee weapons. Such as laser whips, spiked bats, knives he can throw, boxing gloves, and even some bear traps he can place down.

Matt

Mirror

Matt cant go a day without admiring his beautiful face in some way, so Matt keeps mirrors. He really likes mirrors by the way, like a lot.

Anywho with these not only can Matt gaze upon his looks, but he’s combined his mirrors with flood lights which have created a massive beam of light which can travel from earth to space in seconds and split a UFO in half.

Mop

Matt's main tool for the one time he fought Zombehs. It was a pretty effective bo-staff against them, and he even launched Edd through a wall using it.

Firearms

Go near his beautiful face and Matt wont be afraid to shoot you right in your not as beautiful face with his firearms. Matt has the most limited amount of guns between the three, but he has a few special ones which will likely come in handy.

Stunstick

While trying to figure out how to stop a ship from crashing, Matt tried using this to stop it. All it ended up doing was electrifying Tom and knocking him out.

Catapult

A catapult Matt used while he and The Gang were trying to make movies. He primarily launched dummies covered in red paint to simulate blood, which was great for traumatising children. It’s probably more useful if you use actual rocks and stuff though.

Death In A Can

It is death, in a can. Crack open the can and you presumably just flop to the ground and die. Sucks to suck I guess.

Magic Mirror

A mirror Matt bought from the magic store. It’s a shiny mirror that allows him to look at his own face, but more importantly has a portal within it that can transport you to a world where everyone is gender swapped. Shown at the end of the episodes where Ell’s sword came flying through the mirror. So it’s probably a useful BFR option.

The Time Pad

"Well, it all started when I got my hands on a- I mean, uh, invented my own time machine."

Stolen from Future Tom and Matt, it’s a metallic pad that you can type a date into to send Matt all across time and space. Future Edd has used futuristic time travel devices to bring an army of himself to the main Edd’s timeline, but Matt however used it for a more… Grand scale type thing.

He went back in time and made every single historical event all about him, making him the creator of everything. All cheer for King Matt I suppose.

Misc Melee Weapons

Considering he has a whole room worth of junk, it makes sense Matt has carried around a variety of weapons to use on opponents. Such as bent golf clubs, chainsaws, hammers, swords, maces, etc.

Shared Items

Explosives

The Gang likes to blow shit up. Whether that be with grenades, dynamite, landmines, a timed bomb, a toy monkey, or just actual nukes.

General Protection

The Gang don't come into a fight without some level of protection. With them having makeshift armours for battling demons, and even space suits for going into outer space.

Construction Equipment

"I’ll get the music..."

When making an extra floor for their house, The Gang used many construction items, such as pickaxes, sledgehammers, normal hammers, drills, cement, saws, etc. No nails however.

Sunscreen

The Eddsworld boys apparently take regular trips to the sun, always remembering to put on sunscreen so they’re fine. Although, Tom seems to always forget this.

Paintball Guns & Balloons

Paintball is fun. Y'all should try it irl if you haven't.

Bow & Arrows

I have not done archery stuff so, I can't comment on that. Useful weapons though.

The Necronomicon Ex Mortis

Edd Gould was a big Evil Dead fan. What a fucking badass dude.

Anyway, yes The Gang possesses multiple versions of the book of the dead. One sealing you inside, one causing your head to instantly explode, and the other summoning demon hands which instantly kill you and send your soul straight to heaven. Groovy.

Vehicles

Ed, Edd n Eddy

Bike

Just a bike that fits all 3 of them, great for traversing around. It’s also pretty useful, as bikes in Ed, Edd n Eddy tend to act more like motorcycles than they do bicycles.

They all also have their own individual bikes too.

Gabrage Sooter

Now moving onto vehicles Double D and the other Ed Boys invented, we have this useful machine crafted from everyday suburban littler. It's a large scooter The Ed’s used to try and reach the candy store when they heard it was selling Free Jawbreakers.

Rolling Pin Roader

A simple segway-like vehicle Double D uses. It’s equipped with a lawnmower which could be used as a weapon, and can extend out a watering can that can cause grass to grow incredibly quickly, which he used to stop Eddy in his place.

Tactical Search-And-Rescue Vehicle

This was a scraped together vehicle Double D made to help Eddy catch up to a school bus. It’s surprisingly fast for what it is, with it leaving a trail of fire when moving and even being able to launch itself into the sky at high speeds to the point it… Shattered the sky itself?

Rocket

For better air travel, The Ed’s have a literal rocket. Double D crafted this thing with stuff from a junkyard, and it was capable of launching Eddy high into the air. Although it does eventually get destroyed due to the speed and the fact it was a prototype. But it’s still a very useful thing to have.

Makeshift Airplane

The Ed’s greatest option for aerial travel. It’s a high speed airplane The Ed’s used to escape school because school sucks. The plane is pretty functional, even being equipped with an ejection seat, and it only failed due to Double D accidentally getting stuck on a fence.

Eddys Creek Cruise

For travelling on water, The Ed’s simply have a ship made from large tubes and coolers. It also used Ed’s legs as its way of moving and was equipped with telescopes and speakers, that's about it.

S.S Mutant Almost a Chicken Duck

While on an adventure to find Eddy's big bro, Double D crafted this mutant duck boat to help traverse the seas.

Eddy's Brother's Car

Speaking of Eddy’s big bro, The Ed’s have his car. It’s a nice shiny red car, which presumably has similar functions to other Ed, Edd n Eddy cars like the radio being so loud it makes the car itself bounce in the air while hurting the ears of those near the vehicle.

They end up driving it to escape the kids of The Cul-De-Sac in big picture show, however the car's engines had problems and simply wouldn't start. So Ed pulled a page right out of Fred Flinstones books and began running, and the car functioned very similar to a normal one. The chase scene with the car is also really exciting and fun to watch, y'all should check it out.

Magnetic Crane

When face to face with The Dynamo from The Powerpuff Girls, The Ed boys quickly improvised and used a magnetic crane to instantly shut it down. Pretty useful if face to face with a giant robot or something.

The Gas Blaster

If the low quality wasn't enough to kill you then these sure will. They are toilets with wheels of which they can drive…. That's about it.

Subway Toys

Yep just like Nathan Drake from Uncharted they had a collaboration with Subway which gave them some vehicles. From a wooden car, to skateboards and this thing…idfk what it is.

Cul-De-Smash Go Karts

During the great era of Flash Games, Ed, Edd n Eddy has a total of 2 Go Kart games. One being ‘Ed, Edd n Eddy: Cul-De-Sac Smash’, and its sequel ‘Wheels of Fury’ The Ed’s also have go karts they can use to ram into fellow go karts, until they’re smashed to pieces. They can even upgrade their go karts speed, strength, handling, etc. Also in Wheels of Fury, The Ed’s go karts also have their own unique abilities. Including…

  • Ed’s Booger Blast: Ed sneezes and boogers go everywhere that slow enemies down. Nasty.

  • Edd’s Repulsor Ray: Double D shoots a Repulsor Beam in the shape of a boxing glove right out of his kart. It pushes enemies away and deals pretty good damage.

  • Eddy’s El Mongo Stink Bomb: Eddys kart shoots out clouds of El Mongo Stink Bomb gas, meaning it’s a pretty useful AOE attack.

Eddsworld

Edd’s Car

Edd has a cool red car, they drive around in it, y’know like cars do. But its real special feature is The Z Gear!

Simply pull this thing, and the car will take off into the sky playing a catchy tune as it does. Although if you point out why the car can do this, it’ll instantly fall back to the ground.

Go Karts

Edd and The Gang's greatest weapon; Operation Mega Escape 4. The 3 just literally get in really small go karts and leave, though these can actually move at fast speeds after a while.

Motorcycle

This MU has Akira slide potential.

Weiner Mobile

TO THE WEINER MOBILE!

Military Vehicles

Eddsworld have been through various military experiences, and have used many weapons suited for it. Such as large tanks which they used to accidentally destroy an entire enemy base, or a helicopter equipped with turrets which Edd knows how to fly perfectly.

The Bathmobile

Tom's escape plan. The Eddsworld boys used this to clear through a Zombeh horde, even smashing through a door and racing against Zoombies.

Magic Carpet

A flying magic carpet Matt has! He still has no magic shovel however.

Zantas Sleigh

Remember how I mentioned that Tom hates Christmas earlier? Well, he took it to the next level during 2010, where he stole Zanta Claws’s Sleigh to destroy Christmas himself, becoming the villain of that episode.

During his Christmas destruction spree, Tom used this sleigh to the best of his ability, and it was pretty useful with it having many functions. It can obviously fly, but it’s also equipped with miniguns to fire at opponents, can launch missiles to blow stuff up, and even drop larger nuke-like bombs to make buildings crumble.

The Boxmas Bot

To combat Tom during his chaos, The Eddsworld gang were given a little gift from Zanta to take the Christmas-hating mad man down; A van… Okay it was actually a giant robot.

The Boxmas Bot is a large robotic mecha that towers over buildings and is equipped with quite a few functions for combat. It can swing around its fists for melee combat, release a large gatling gun from its chest for ranged combat, and can fire missiles from its shoulders. Hell, you can even place yourself in there to propel yourself across the sky.

Spaceship

The Eddsworld gang's best vehicle, it’s a big spacecraft they stole from a race of aliens that has many functions. Like… A lot of functions. So much we’re gonna have to bullet point them right here!

Abilities

Ed, Edd n Eddy

Ed

Enhanced Consumption

Ed likes eating a lot. But don't worry, his stomach space isn't just limited to gravy as this guy has quite the appetite. He once ransacked the entire Cul-De-Sac of their food, and as shown above can even eat an entire bed if he has too. Dear lord man.

Animal Manipulation

After Ed did everything in his comic book “The Curse of Evil Tim”, a flock of crows gathered where Ed performed his “sacrifice”, attacking Double D and Eddy. Pretty consistent considering Ed can control animals with just the music from a flute.

Memory Manipulation

Ed’s not the sharpest, so he typically needs a second to catch up on information he forgot. Good thing he can force you to by rewinding your mind, whether through twisting your head or slamming a house over you.

Duplication

I’m more concerned about how that girder fits than the second Ed.

Immersion

While playing hide and seek, Ed chose literally the best spot he could’ve. He jumped right into a TV and immersed himself into a cartoon, interacting with the characters there too.

Static Electricity

Double D taught Ed all about the properties and functions of static electricity. Which Ed was super fascinated by, so fascinated he became very powerful when using it. With static electricity, Ed can conduct electrical energy through his body, pull stuff towards him, and even perform a house destroying “Zappity Zap Zap.”

Special Move

In Scam Of The Century, all The Ed’s have their own special move meter which they can charge up over time. Allowing them to perform a powerful move when full that can turn the tide of a fight quickly.

Ed’s is pretty simple, he sneezes causing a large AOE attack instantly knocking out any opponent near him.

Double D

Reverse Psychology

You’ve probably seen this image in hundreds of dumb memes, but it’s actually a very useful tool. Y’know the saying fight fire with fire? That's pretty much what Reverse Psychology is.

It’s an art Double D was aware of which he taught the other Ed’s, using it in the form of flirting with The Kankers giving them a taste of their own medicine. Which scared them and made them the ones running in fear, very nice.

Plant Manipulation

One day, Double D and Ed had gotten into a fight to the point they stopped being friends! This filled him with so much despair, he began to cry so much his tears made a small flower grow. Not as potent as Double D’s other plant growing stuff like his Rolling Pin Roader but, it helps.

Molecular Manipulation

Double D created a fizzy drink that never loses said fizz, by literally affecting its atomic makeup. It’s unknown if he used a tool for this or not but either way, really impressive.

Special Move

Double D’s super move is pretty simple but very potent. He rushes towards wherever he’s facing at high speeds and gains invincibility while he runs, dealing damage to whoever's hit during his jog.

Eddy

Acrobatics

Eddy is easily the quickest of the 3 Ed Boys and would probably win if they got into a race. With this comes some pretty great agility, perfect for getting away from angry customers who have just been scammed.

He can leap from a tree before swinging across a branch into a window, was able to perform various acrobatic stunts while doing his Flying Eduardo Brothers scam, and in general he’s always jumping around The Cul-De-Sac.

Magic

As revealed in ‘Sir Ed-a-Lot’ Eddy is apparently a pretty skilled magician. Shown by him pulling Double D right out of a small hat. I’m pretty sure this would earn him tons of cash… Why doesn't he do this over really tedious scams?

Magnetism

After rubbing Eddy on the top of Ed’s hairs, he was able to conduct static electricity strong enough to stick Eddy to a metal garage door.

Special Move

For Eddys special move, he burps four times which instantly stuns and damages those hit by it. Wouldn't a move like this make more sense for Ed?

Shared Abilities

Teamwork

Ed, Edd n Eddy are best pals, friends till the end. Removing one of them would be like hop skip but no jump, or up up but no away, or like blah blah without the other blah.

What I'm getting at is that The Ed’s are really close friends and they all help each other through thick and thin, with each one of their skills being useful in the trio's dynamic. Ed’s strength helps with heavy lifting, Double D's intellect helps make their scams possible with him making machines and gadgets, and Eddys the man with the plan who’ll push the other Ed’s out of their comfort zones. They can even use their teamwork in fights, from little stuff like Ed and Double D pushing a toy car Eddy was driving in, or even performing team based moves using all their strengths in conjunction during The Mis-Edventures video game. Which we’ll actually list right here!

Toon Force

They’re cartoon characters, kinda obvious they’d have this power but yeah. Ed, Edd n Eddy possesses Toon Force. The ability to pretty much say fuck you to logic, and do whatever your heart desires so long as it’s funny.

The Ed’s have shown many cases of this ability, displaying common stuff like pulling objects from out of complete nowhere. But that's just the normal stuff, as The Ed’s toon force seems to work on a meta-fictional level, as they can interact and mess with stuff they reasonably have no business messing with. Such as them being able to rip off body parts of other characters like their Lego, appearing in front of speech bubbles, pulling around and interacting with screen transitions and backgrounds, physically interacting with imaginary borders, etc. Hell they once even cracked the sky of their own cartoon leaving a hole that led to some kind of strange static void place… I don’t know.

Elasticity & Body Control

The Ed’s collection of classic cartoon tropes don't end there, as their bones and limbs appear to be made out of bubble gum and laffy taffy. As they can stretch, squash, and reshape their bodies in a number of different ways.

They’ve used this numerous times to get out of some really tight situations. They’ve squashed their bodies down to fit into tiny holes, used their tongues as ropes, can grow specific body parts for their own purposes, and Eddy once stretched out his arm so long he used it as a lasso to catch onto a moving bus.

Regeneration

Throughout the show The Ed’s get the absolute snot beaten out of them, going through injuries and wounds that would be fatal to pretty much anyone on earth. But not them!

The Ed’s have been squashed completely flat multiple times, lost all colour and then regained it seconds later, have had limbs completely ripped off, endured having their heads burned to char, survived being shattered like glass, can come back from being turned to complete ash, and on multiple occasions have been melted into liquids and just… Came back like it’s nothing. Those Jawbreakers must be fucking amazing if their doing all THIS for them.

Fourth Wall Awareness

The Ed’s (Besides Double D) are pretty oblivious and are never really aware of their surroundings. What they are aware of however is you. Yes you reading this.

Numerous times throughout the show, The Ed’s and other characters have shown awareness of the world they live in being a show, the audience, the script, their awards, their show's budget, the amount of episodes their show has, and even their own creator. Double D himself has also asked for episodes to end by using an Iris-In, and he alongside other Cartoon Network characters broke into Nickelodeon!? Damn, SpongeBob scaling I guess.

Shapeshifting & Transmutation

For more logic defying crazy stuff, The Ed’s can warp their bodies on a whim, being able to shape them into different stuff constantly.

This ability is mainly present with Eddy, as he can turn into piggy banks, volcanos, balls, and even a whole wooden plank. But the other Ed’s can perform this ability just fine, notably Ed as he can morph his eyes into that of a cyclops, and he once even turned completely invisible. Ed can even use this move on other people, as he once turned Eddys entire head into a comic book.

Sound Manipulation

Ed, Edd n Eddy has the most unique sound design I’ve ever heard. So it makes sense The Ed’s are armed with the ability to weaponize sound.

They have a few showcases of this ability, such as Ed playing the violin so bad it creates physical music notes, even using Eddy's hair strings as a replacement after he lost it. But not only can they create loud sounds, but they can even turn sound off completely. As Eddy once was able to mute Ed by turning his eye like a speaker.

Shadow Manipulation

The Ed’s seem to have strange control over shadows. Double D can morph shadows into completely impossible shapes, Eddy can manipulate Ed’s shadow to the point he can feel it as if it was voodoo magic, and all their shadows appear to have some level of sentience as they move around without them knowing… Somehow.

Flight

The Ed’s appear to possess some level of flight. Whether that be Ed jumping really high into the air, Double D flying around with an umbrella like Mary Poppins, or even Eddys hairs acting as helicopter blades. They can also perform the classic Looney Toons gag of walking around on thin air, only falling when they notice they are not on physical ground.

Spiritual Powers

A very strange ability but, The Ed’s have numerous spiritual powers for some odd reason. Double D can project his own soul as a more sane being while his physical body was going insane, and both him and Eddy can project small angel and devil spirits that can mess with your head by literally going inside of it. Showing they have some potential mind controlling haxes.

Imagination Creation

One of The Ed’s best and most dangerous abilities. They can seemingly just bring ANYTHING their thinking of to life.

In the episode ‘Who Let The Ed In’ Ed created an imaginary friend named Jib. While for most of the episode it seems like Jib is simply just Ed’s imagination, it’s shown at the end that Jib is VERY real. As he easily beats Eddy in a fight, sending him flying. This means Ed can create entire beings from just his imagination, and he’s not the only one to possess this power as Eddy was able to make an invisible potato and an invisible slingshot to hit Ed at the end of the episode. So yeah, The Ed’s can bring whatever they think about in their imagination into reality.

Time Travel

For more meta-fictional haxes, The Ed’s have strange time travelling capabilities. Throughout ‘Every Which Way But Ed’ The Ed’s and other characters physically grab onto scene transitions and will pull them around, taking them to whatever point they want, whether that be the past, or the future. Ed’s speed alone is able to control these time travelling powers, even causing him Double D and Eddy to become toddlers.

Existence Erasure

Another very useful and deadly ability The Ed’s posses. After licking his arm and rubbing it over Eddy's head, Ed was capable of erasing the top of it, with Double D even being able to reverse this move and bring back the top of Eddy’s head. This means The Ed’s have potential existence erasure, although it would be pretty tricky to use considering Ed would need to encompass the target's whole entire body.

One + One = Ed Abilities

The most broken abilities and tools The Ed’s have yet. During the episode ‘One + One = Ed’ The Ed’s embark on a learning spree about how the world around them works, only to slowly find out more about its cartoonish nature, slowly breaking reality and warping the world around them in various ways. There are so many of these powers to the point I kind of have to bullet point them, also these abilities are well… Pretty debated about whether or not their viable which is kinda the big reason they’re being counted as different to the other ones (See Before The Verdict)

Resistances

Through their many scams, The Ed boys have gone through and suffered attacks from multiple different hazards, but that doesn't slow them down one bit. These include…

Eddsworld

Edd

Summoning

Edd has some kind of strange ability to just… Make stuff appear. He can reach his hands off screen and pull out nachos and sodas, he can create knives and forks from thin air, and by singing ‘Sugar, Sugar’ by The Archies he can cause Coca Cola to rain from the sky, although this can hurt him too. Edd can also conjure up sentient Coca Cola cans from his mind which he can just drink right then and there.

Light Manipulation

Edds singing abilities don't stop there, as when he sings ‘Tribute’ by Tenacious D, he can summon light capable of creating shockwaves that launch Lucifer himself back.

Illusion Creation

A pretty obscure power but Edd can fake his own death by using some kind of illusion, which allowed him to get the jump on Tom.

Fear Inducement

Despite being a silly little goofball, Edd can somehow give you an intimidating look so bad it brings bowling pins to life, as they instantly do whatever he wants them to do due to pure fear.

Stamina Replenishing

By doing some stretches Edd can gain a stamina boost after working on comics for 10 hours. Relatable.

Tom

Eye Related Powers

Notice Tom's black eyes? Yeah no one else does, at least not up until the finale.

For most of Eddsworld, Tom's black eyes are a mystery and we have no idea WHY his eyes are black. Maybe it's because he’s possessed, maybe it’s because he’s the son of a bowling ball, who knows. What we do know is it offers Tom multiple abilities which are actually pretty useful for a fight. These include…

Hair Manipulation

Tom has the ability to grow a beard whenever he wants, even controlling it and throwing his enemies around as if it was an extra limb… It’s a disorder!

Flight

After graduating from the school of awesome, Tom gained the ability to fly. He even kept it after dying, sweet!

Energy Projection

As shown above, Tom got laser eye surgery which lets him shoot out laser beams from his eyes capable of summoning storms. He can also fire Dragon Ball-esc energy beams from his hands when fighting Edd.

Telekinesis

Tom can use the force and he wields a cool Darth Vader suit alongside a lightsaber. Who was his Obi-Wan?

Matt

Enhanced Senses

While blind folded, Matt could still score a strike while bowling. So he can probably keep fighting when blind I suppose. Matt was also able to tell Edd was using X-Ray vision on him and Tom somehow.

Animal Manipulation

Matt can command eagles to help him do stuff, like taking items and even allowing him to fly… Hehe, Firework. (No one and I mean NO ONE besides like 6 people are gonna get that joke)

Shared Abilities

Teamwork

Considering all they’ve gone through together, it’s pretty obvious The Eddsworld boys are pretty close friends. They’ve known each other since they’ve been young, and will go through great lengths for the other despite them usually doing… The exact opposite.

They’ve all even worked together numerous times in the past to do stuff, like creating vehicles, making houses, and fighting 4 million clones of themselves together all in one night. So sweet, kinda disturbing, but pretty sweet.

Elasticity & Body Control

The Eddsworld Gang have strange control over their bodies, with them being able to shift and stretch them in a multitude of ways.

They can open up their jaws like animatronics, stretch their necks to incredible lengths, give themselves a high five by stretching their arms, can ‘go long’, and they can even grow a third arm.

Shapeshifting

For more ways they can shift their bodies, The Eddsworld Gang can simply shapeshift into random shit.

From pieces of cake, to poisonous snakes, to slinkys, to bowling pins, to snowmen and stars, to dinosaurs, to even Youtooz figures… Horrifying.

Duplication

The more the merrier as they say. The Eddsworld Gang have many showcases of cloning themselves, with Edd being able to make a room full of himself and even create shadow clones, while Tom can create decoys of himself while hiding, and Matt can play hide and seek with a duplicate version of himself.

The Lift To Hell

The Boys have a habit of fighting demons and monsters, so it makes sense they can weaponise this sort of.

Via a computer, The Eddsworld trio can conjure up a portal to hell, full of demons, nasty restaurants, rooms that show your own personal hell, and even a room where you get the snot beaten out of you by a magic pencil. A very useful BFR option if things get tough for The Boys.

Non Physical Interaction

Moving onto more minor abilities, The Gang can mess with non tangible beings, mainly spirits. As Edd can use a ghost as a blanket for sleeping, and Tom can vacuum up ghosts like Luigi.

Fourth Wall Awareness

What would a funny internet series be without the main characters being aware of the fourth wall?

The Eddsworld gang are aware of the fourth wall pretty clearly. They can look at the audience as shown above, are aware of stuff happening outside the animation, can reach outside of their own comics, and there's even an entire episode where the characters work alongside the official crew to hire voice actors.

Regeneration

Now we’re getting into their most potent and deadly hax. Starting off, The Eddsworld Gang are really hard to kill. And I mean REALLY.

They’ve kept going after having spears shoved through their head, being split in half, having their heads cut off or destroyed, being blown to multiple pieces, getting shredded by jet engines, burned to char by a flamethrower, being liquified by pure heat, their entire comic being erased, etc. And yes this is ALL canon, as it’s shown they keep relics from previous episodes in The End. So yeah, these three are not easy to kill at all.

Immortality

Even if you somehow get past their insane regeneration, that's not killing The Gang, as they’re actually just immortal.

If they're killed but their physical body is still intact, The Gang will turn into Zombeh’s. As Zombeh’s they’re able to live with missing limbs, infect other people, and even command entire armies of other Zombehs. If you destroy those physical bodies however, The Trio can simply all come back as flying Ghosts. And despite being well… Ghosts, they are capable of fully interacting with the world around them, even killing those who killed them before they died.

Creator Powers

It's called Eddsworld for a reason. Since Edd is the canonical artist and creator of the show, he alongside a few others have power over literally EVERYTHING. Giving The Trio numerous different haxes. These include…

Resistances

Eddsworld contains many dangerous opponents and attacks, so it makes sense Edd, Tom and Matt have all foughten against a wide variety of powers. These include…

Forms

Ed, Edd n Eddy

Edzilla

Ed was once given a monster costume as a present from the other Ed’s due to him wanting to be a monster really bad. But when he put it on, Ed REALLY thought he was a monster and got way into it as he adopted the persona of Edzilla. A very obvious Godzilla parody, in which Ed turns off his moral restraints and attacks everyone in The Cul-De-Sac, even some of its most heaviest hitters. In this form Ed also gains many abilities and attributes to help him become the greatest monster of all, including…

Space Monster

Basically the same exact thing as Edzilla. Ed put on a costume and really believed he was a monster, and began terrorizing The Cul-De-Sac forcing Eddy to fight him off. Once again this form offers Ed many different powers that allow him to overpower the might of The Cul-De-Sac kids. It should also be noted Ed has a Santa version of this costume, which is pretty much the exact same thing besides some stuff so they’ll be mixed together as being one form.

The Masked Mumbler

Double D is very infamously one of the weakest people in The Cul-De-Sac, and so is constantly picked on for it. So Eddy decided to toughen his buddy up by teaching him wrestling of course, with Double D going under the name ‘The Masked Mumbler’

In this form, Double D actually gains tons of specific moves that not only use unique powers, but he can use in tandem with the other Ed’s to get the jump on his opponent. These include…

  • Flying Buttress: Double D leaps into the air, and crushes his opponent with his ass. What the fuck man.

  • Rejuvenate: Nazz comes in to give Double D a kiss, healing him for 1 health point.

  • Trash Can Block: Eddy puts a trash can on top of Double D, allowing him to block an enemies attack, even dealing damage back.

  • Steamroller: Double D turns into a wheel in order to run over his opponent.

  • Monkey Mangler: Double D goes monkey mode and leaps onto his opponent.

  • Pile Driver: Double D morph’s his shoes into a hammer and slams them onto his opponent.

  • Snake Squeeze Hold: Double D slithers onto his opponent like a snake and constricts them.

  • Super Belly Flop: Double D belly flops onto his enemy.

  • Stink Foot Surprise: Double D removes his shoe and… Yeah i’m not explaining this what the fuck dude.

  • The Big Bad Bomb Drop: Double D turns himself into a rocket and launches himself at his opponent, blowing them up.

  • Supermove: Ed n Eddy climb onto the stage and clothesline their opponent.

Professor Scam

When Captain Melonhead was running around The Cul-De-Sac thwarting The Ed’s scams, Eddy had only one idea on how to get rid of him; Dawn the identity of a super villain. And with that idea, Professor Scam was born! As Professor Scam, Eddy gains quite a few attributes that’ll surely curl your toes!

Rage Boosts

One of, if not the Ed’s most powerful forms, it’s what the fans call ‘The Rage Boost’ This form is something numerous characters can enter when upset, which gives them a huge boost in physicality. Whether that be due to simply being annoyed, or having a pebble stuck in their shoe. Either way this state gives The Ed Boys tons of attributes which make sure their opponents are in for one hell of a beating.

Superhero Forms

We all probably pretended to be superheroes as kids, and The Ed’s are no different. Coming up with their own personal superhero personas to fight off the ‘villains’ of The Cul-De-Sac. This trio of heroes include…

Eddsworld

PowerEdd

After being exposed to Eduardo's radioactive satellite, Edd alongside Eduardo gained numerous different superpowers, causing him to adopt the identity of PowerEdd!

As stated before, Edd gains many cool powers in this form, including…

Monster Tom

Due to sharing his body with a demon, whenever Tom gets to angry he’ll let that demon take full control over his body turning him into a huge monster-like beast the fans call ‘Monster Tom’

In this form Tom obviously gets a few upgrades that make him pretty useful in combat, including…

Vampire Matt

One Halloween, Matt was bitten by a Vampire so he became… A Vampire! Obviously being a Vampire comes with its own perks and abilities, and Matt is no different.

Lobster Matt

While messing around with a lobster, Matt ended up bumping into a large container of some sort of toxic waste. This caused an Akira-esc mutation, turning Matt into a giant Lobster monster thingy… Ohhh, Matt Lobster! That's clever. As this beast, Matt gains many new features that allowed him to do many things too.

Scaling

Ed, Edd n Eddy

Peach Creek Residents

Ed, Edd n Eddy is pretty famous for having a small but really likeable set of characters, so it makes sense they’ll literally only have ONE scaling section.

Anyways, yeah The Ed’s should scale to pretty much all the side characters in the show. Ed’s reason is pretty simple, he’s commonly shown to be the strongest and scares all the Kids in The Cul-De-Sac when he’s upset, even Sarah. He’s simply usually just held back due to his dumb brain and kind heart. Double D on the other hand should surprisingly scale despite being the weakest of the 3, as he has an entire episode dedicated to him ACCIDENTLY beating up most of the kids, even characters like Rolf and The Kanker Sisters were being harmed by his blows. Eddy would also scale by proxy due to being stated to be stronger than Double D numerous times. With this all laid out, let’s talk feats!

Eddsworld

Tord

Ah hello, Old friends. It’s Eddsworlds arguably most iconic character ever, there's no way I could’ve left him out! He’s even getting his own red coloured link, cause why wouldn't he? (Cheap copycat!)

The Gang scaling to Tord is pretty simple, not only could they fight millions of clones of the guy, but Edd was able to trade blows with Tord in a fist fight, and Toms harpoon gun instantly destroyed him even when he was in his mech. So yes, scaling should be fine. With that in mind, Tord can…

Zanta Claws

THE GOAT. Zanta scaling is pretty obvious, with The Gang fighting him every year, and Tom even getting into a fist fight with him in the third Zanta Claws special. Anywho, Zanta can…

Other One Off Characters

Look at all those wacky characters! Anyway, due to their nature of fighting supernatural creatures and general wackiness, it makes sense to scale The Gang to their world… Their Eddsworl-

Weaknesses

Ed, Edd n Eddy

While they’re some of Cartoons greatest teams, there's a reason so many of their scams have failed in the past. Ed, Edd n Eddy has numerous flaws.

For starters each one of The Ed’s have their own individual weakness which hinders them in their own way in terms of a fight. For Ed, it’s him being well… Not that smart, with him being easily the least intelligent character in his series. And while he is a force to be reckoned with when at full power, he’s only really like that in certain forms like Edzilla or Lothar, with him instantly losing those skills once reverted back to normal. For Double D, he’s held back by his frail body and cowardness. He’s easily scared by a number of things, even something as simple as dodgeball, and his pure stage fright has caused him to lose spelling bees, and even faint in the intro to the show. He’s also not much in terms of raw power, with there being many showcases throughout the show of him having nearly no muscle in his body. As for Eddy, his biggest weakness is…. Well a lot of things. He’s really petty and easy to anger, with his voice actor even stating he can go from being calm to screaming like a girl in 2 seconds, he’s incredibly egotistical trying to take the spotlight whenever he can, and he’s also just… Mentally not okay to put it lightly.

But The Ed’s collective biggest weakness is their horrible luck and lack of skill in terms of fighting. Despite training in many arts, they’re usually the ones suffering the most damage in their conflicts, it’s literally half of the show. This is especially true if they're fighting someone far stronger than them, and more skilled than them, like Rolf for example.

Eddsworld

While The Eddsworld Gang are pretty skilled for what seems like a normal set of guys, they still have flaws that normal sets of guys tend to have.

In terms of individual flaws, Edd himself is really oblivious to his surroundings, often making jokes and puns in moments where he is going to die. For Tom, he also tends to be oblivious to his surroundings, has severe anger problems, and he will run away from a fight that he thinks he cannot win. As for Matt he’s pretty oblivious… In general. He’s got a really bad memory due to shooting himself with a memory gun, is pretty unlucky, and he’s allergic to dogs, seafood, and explosions… Aren't we all?

As for shared weaknesses, well… All of them are kind of stupid. They’ve gotten into life threatening fights over minor things, and they’ve even done stuff without thinking, like signing up for the army without reading the conditions and basing their thoughts on it via a commercial on TV. They also kinda suck at team work, killing each other numerous times cause they’re simply just dickheads. I mean, Tom once became the villain of one episode, all because of his pure hatred of Christmas.

Before The Verdict…

Ed, Edd n Eddy’s Imagination Stuff?

Probably the most recognisable thing when it comes to Ed, Edd n Eddy in vs. So it very much warrants its own section as there's a lot to talk about.

If you're somehow out of the loop, there's a very infamous episode of Ed, Edd n Eddy called ‘One + One = Ed’ In it, during one of their scams, they begin to learn about the world around them. When doing this however, they slowly break the fourth wall on an entirely insane meta level, and begin distorting and warping reality, with them sawing through space itself, turning people to liquids, and most iconic of all; Eating the sun like a cookie. So what's the matter with all this? Well at the end of the episode it's revealed that all of this wasn't real. With it apparently being some weird shared hallucination The Ed’s went through, as they are shown no longer being capable of performing the same abilities they did in their dream. This seems pretty cut and dry right? It’s not real so why use it? Well there's a number of arguments that they reasonably can do these things, so let’s explain.

The argument goes that The Ed’s can use all these powers and perform all these feats via the episode ‘Who Let The Ed In?’ Where Ed creates an imaginary friend named Jib, who was shown to be real, and Eddy could even replicate this ability creating slingshots and such. The Ed’s have also seemingly made their imagination real multiple times, like with Edzilla and Eddys ray of riches attack. So, what's my personal stance on this?

Well I think for one, the argument for their imagination letting them perform certain abilities like using their laser blasters, or made up superhero forms is fine. As The Ed’s imagination is shown to create weapons and conjure up powers like beams and allow them to make makeup personas real, but I’m a little mixed on actually giving them feats and powers from One + One = Ed. The abilities in both episodes seem just… A little too different. Who Let The Ed In’s imagination stuff is more akin to creating invisible items and people, while One + One’s stuff is far more like widespread reality warping. I don't think making invisible people, and eating the sun are really similar at all, just cause both come from imagination does not mean they’re the same exact hax. But on the other hand, I do think The Ed’s have a lot of the abilities from this episode already, like removing body parts, transmutating people, interacting with celestial bodies, etc. So I think there's the argument that they can already use most of their haxes from One + One, and either way I will be factoring these into the debate, as the episode feels far too iconic and important to just brush off.

TLDR; Ed, Edd n Eddy's imagination abilities are fine, but their reality warping ones are a bit strange to include, but are important enough to where I'm using them anyway.

Immeasurable Ed?

(Edit by DoRitto)

Yes you read that right, there is an argument that The Ed Boys are immeasurable.

In the episode ‘Every Which Way But Ed’ Ed runs so fast to the point it makes time go backwards via flashbacks, with Eddy even saying he’s rewinding them back to the start. While this may seem like an ability due to the fact they’ve been travelling through flashbacks all episode, Ed’s actually doing this through his own raw speed, with it controlling the rate in which time itself moved. Which is exactly what qualifies as Immeasurable speed in terms of vs stuff. So this feat checks out pretty well right? Well.. Sort of.

The big argument against this feat is pretty lame but sadly something that must be said, people think this is kind of an Outlier. Yeah coming from a verse with feats that dont even crack FTL only to have one Immeasurable feat seems pretty strange to most, but depending how generous you are, you can argue it’s consistent. Whether that be through the idea that the gap between immeasurable and any other speed would be the exact same, or the fact that there's some other feats similar to this, like The Ed’s trying to (But failing) to outrun time to a candy store. I’m personally a little mixed on the feat, but that's more so on its consistency rather than the feat itself, as I buy it at Immeasurable.

TLDR; The feat itself is all good, but you can argue it's an outlier. However it is being factored into this debate as an end The Ed’s have.

Eddsworld And Its Various Cosmic Feats?

(Edit by Family Guy Soundwave)

Eddsworld, more like Edds… Planet level! But yeah, Eddsworld has a number of cosmic feats which are talked about quite a lot So let’s talk about those feats!

We’re gonna start with easily the most popular and talked about feat for Eddsworld by far; The time Edd kicked an empty Coca-Cola can with so much force it knocked the sun out of the sky and got rid of the surrounding stars. Starting off, we’ll knock down the problem many like to throw at the feat; Is that it’s just a simple Outlier and a Gag.

While yes it’s an out of nowhere feat which is played for comedic effect, this is surprisingly not completely inconsistent with Eddsworlds general AP feats. They have a number of feats which reach a similar scale which we will bullet point right here for your interest, these are…

So yeah surprisingly this is pretty consistent with Eddsworld. Another thing about the feat is how high it actually is, as the stars all appear to be gone and its pitch black after Edd destroyed the sun. Many like to say this is an invalid end, due to it ‘Clearly not being the comics intention’ Which i’ll lay my thoughts on real quick.

For one, I think trying to talk about the intention of the 7th silly comic strip Eddsworld ever did a bit dumb, I don’t think there was any actual serious thought going into this. And if there was well, if the sun were to blow up it’s simply not hitting that many stars, as the closest star towards us besides our own sun is The Proxima Centauri which is over 4.2 light-years from Earth. And to be safe from the sun's destruction you have to be at least 50 light-years away from it. Which many stars already are, and all the stars are gone in the comic soooo yeah. Even if you don't buy it destroying all the stars, you at least have to buy Edd completely destroying the star due to the darkness, which is about 164.19 Quettatons Of TNT. And keep in mind, no matter which end you buy, Edd did this with just the slight movement of his foot while in base form, so he’d only get stronger when trying or in a form like PowerEdd. So no matter which end you want to choose, Edd is still going to be incredibly high on an incredibly casual level.

Now if that's their AP stuff, is there any speed stuff that should be talked about? Yes actually, and it’s a feat that I found. So if you're gonna make fun of it in response to the blog, it’s a feat I found out through my own research. Anyways, basically in Eddsworld Comic No. 332, Commander Bai and his teammates fly their ship to the end of space itself. In an earlier comic Edd jumped into a ‘Bottomless pit’ which dropped him right into space itself, with stars and the sun being visible in the background. So how fast is this feat? Well, from what i’ve read crossing an infinite distance in a finite amount of time gets you to around Infinite in terms of speed. Considering its lack of a time frame, and it clearly taking a bit of time, I think it’s safe to put this feat at Infinite. Although this is debatable due to its vague nature and the fact you could argue it’s just an outlier. But it’s not impossible to argue it’s not, as there is a comic where Edd somehow got lost in time and later found his way out, with him in the description saying ‘I swear to god, this happens to me every yesterday’ meaning he accidentally gets himself lost in points of time randomly. So yeah, it really just depends what you buy but the feat will be factored into the blog as a high end.

TLDR; Edds can kicking feat is all good in my eyes, it’s consistent and no matter which end you buy it’s going to get high. Commander Bais Infinite speed feat is a bit debatable, but you can argue it’s consistent if you want. And it will be used in this blog as a high end for The Eddsworld Gang.

Universal Feats For Both?

(Edit by DoRitto)

They’re silly cartoon characters, I probably should’ve expected this. But yeah, These trios all have feats which many have argued to be Universal. So are they? Well… Read and find out dummy.

For The Ed’s they have two feats a lot of people seem to say are Universal and i’ll tackle both to the best of my ability. The first and older one comes from the infamous One + One = Ed episode, where The Ed’s begin warping reality with many saying this was done on a Universal scale. My stance on this is that it’s just kinda… Not what happened.

For one, we have 0 idea on what the scale The One + One stuff was done on, the most we ever see The Ed’s do is eat the sun, which is the best you're getting from the episode. Even if you were to assume The Ed’s reality warping was changing the Universe, that only really means they have reality warping that works on a Universal scale, which cannot be converted or translated to AP. Also it’s coming from One + One = Ed which I already explained is a bit strange to use in The Imagination segment. So yeah, this feat is no good.

But that's not The Ed’s only Universal feat, as there was one recently discovered in a Cartoon Network bumper. In this clip Ed skates down a large ramp and hits Eddy dead-on with so much force it swallows the entire cartoon into a strange static void, which could possibly warrant Universal levels of AP. So what's wrong with it? Welp, I’m gonna keep it super honest with you; I am not going to have The Ed’s best AP feat be from a vague fourth wall joke from a non canon bumper the creator had no involvement with making. Yes, I am aware I’m compositing The Ed’s for this blog, and I even used some bumpers for scans like in The Shadow Manipulation Segment. The thing is, stuff like that was there as supporting evidence for that ability, and despite me compositing The Ed’s the source material will and has to come first for feats. So no, this feat will not be a factor in this blog at all.

For Eddsworld they have two, which are pretty similar so I'll lob them together. Them being Matt seemingly erasing The Universe around him with white paint, and the other being Tom having a button which erased the entire comic. For starters, Matt's feat is likely a joke and just him not knowing where the door is due to the paint. He is the most dim-witted of the three after all so it makes sense. Toms however is a bit complicated, as while I do think it gives The Eddsworld Gang really good regen and erasure resistance, it’s a similar case to Ed, Edd n Eddy's reality warping feat. It’s basically too vague and we have 0 actual idea on the scale it worked on. So The Eddsworld Gang isn't Universal at all sadly.

TLDR; Neither trios are Universal as their feats require too much assumption or are going against the source material.

Fight Script

(Tn By Consistent_Cry_7403)

For the first time in Fiction Fight history, we got a fight script! Written by my really cool friend Mongoose, it's a fun little package that shows off how fun the fight potential for this mu is, and I think its 100% worth a read if you're interested/like the matchup. It will spoil the verdict however so read at your own cost.

Verdict

Stats

Starting off with stats for these six, they’re all way stronger than you’d first believe, mainly due to their weird cartoon-ish stuff. We’ll start with their more grounded feats and work our way up to their cosmic ones, along with going into various ends to see who comes out on top in terms of physicality.

For The Ed’s, they were very consistently Multi City Block - Town level. Whether that be Eddys suit creating a giant crater, Double D tanking a static electricity explosion, Ed crashing into a playground like a meteorite, and all three tanking the kinetic energy of Eddys Walking Braces, which came out to a total output of 132 Kilotons Of TNT. The Ed’s could even get even higher, as they could scale to Rolf sustaining a storm which would require over 5.4 Megatons Of TNT to perform, alongside them scaling to The Kankers creating fissures in the ground while trying to find their ship in the bottle. Which is about 478 Megatons Of TNT. But their best non-cosmic feat comes from Ed, whose stomach could create a Magnitude 9+ earthquake, which came out to around 2.68 Gigatons Of TNT. Keep in mind that was just Ed’s hunger ALONE, and The Ed’s can all get stronger through their various forms and upgrades.

How did The Eddsworld Gang hold up? Pretty similar. They could survive a multitude of explosions which reached City Block - Multi City Block levels of energy, can tank their ship exploding which came out to a total output of 1.3 Kilotons Of TNT. They can also harm and tank explosions from The Ghost, who stated he was going to destroy monuments which would include The Great Pyramid of Giza, which is around 113.40 Kilotons of TNT, with him also saying he was going to level mountains which would likely result in an output of 3.91 Megatons Of TNT. But their best feat that didn't relate to cosmic level stuff was Edd and Tom being in the centre of a bunch of fireworks going off, to the point the explosion was visible from space, which clocked in at around 1.22 Petatons Of TNT. Similar to The Ed Boys, The Gang would only be stronger through specific forms and amplifications.

So comparing Ed’s Large Mountain Stomach to Tom's Continental Firework Explosion, meant the gap in power was around 455,224x in Eddsworlds favour, and it’d only get worse through forms like PowerEdd and Monster Tom. So yeah, pretty big but these trios all have feats where they perform cosmic tier accomplishments of power, mainly by damaging Celestial Bodies. So let's compare those ends!

For Ed, Edd n Eddy, they only really had two feats which hit this tier. Their first one being them climbing their elevator of junk to the moon, which they then accidentally tipped over by standing on it, instantly destroying their tower, which is around 4.94 Rottatons Of TNT, or Large Planet. They also had their ever so infamous One + One = Ed feats, mainly Eddy grabbing the sun like a biscuit and biting a large chunk out of it, which is about 2.14 Quettatons Of TNT, or Dwarf Star level. Although, as discussed in BFTV this feat is a bit iffy to use as it did happen in The Ed’s imagination, but like I said in that section the feat is being factored in as an end they can reach. Plus it’s too iconic for me to just… Not mention.

The Eddsworld Gang also had many similar feats, however they came in a larger quantity compared to The Ed’s. From Tords planet shaking scream, to The Gang crashing through a planet, to Edd and Tord growing bigger than earth, etc. But their two best ones are Matt using a stick of dynamite to blow up a planet which looks a lot like Saturn, which came out to around 51.3 Yottatons Of TNT, which is also Large Planet just not as much as The Ed’s moon feat. But don’t worry, as that's not where The Eddsworld Gangs cosmic feats end just yet. As there's the infamous comic feat, where Edd slightly nudges a Coca-Cola can with his foot, causing it to knock the sun out of the air and for the earth to be submerged in darkness. Which most likely meant he destroyed the entire star, which would place Edd and by extension Tom and Matt at around 164.19 Quettatons Of TNT, or Star level. Keep in mind Edd did this with just the slight nudge of his foot, barely trying with Tord even having a nonchalant reaction to it in response. Meaning they are way more powerful if they wanted to try.

So even giving The Ed’s the benefit of the doubt and assuming that One + One = Ed’s events can be replicated, Eddsworld would still be around 76.82x stronger than Ed, Edd n Eddy. And remember, this is Edd casually just moving his foot, compared to giving The Ed’s an already debatable feat. (They’d be 33,220x using the moon feat if you're curious) So no matter which way you really cut it, Eddsworld takes Strength and Durability.

But these trios are usually known for running away from trouble rather than facing it head on, so between all of them, whose faster? Well this section is a little simpler, so we’ll break it into two sections like we did with AP.

For The Ed Boys, they have a multitude of pretty good speed feats. They can outpace Victor The Goat, who ate a ton of grass in a few seconds which was calculated at Mach 191, Eddys Walking braces could reach space in only a few seconds, meaning it was moving at around 1.17%c, and they were all able to climb their elevator in a short time period, which lead all the way to the moon, with the feat getting calculated at either 2% or 11%c, or around Relativistic.

As for Eddsworld, they had a number of bullet timing feats, with Edd even outrunning the speed of a bullet once, but they had many other feats besides bullets. Notably their many laser related feats, like Edd ducking under a laser shot at him which was calculated at 11%c and Tom jumping between Santa Claus and a laser blast, which clocked at around 12.8c. But their best finite feat was easily piloting Commander Bai’s ship, which was capable of travelling to another galaxy in around 2 seconds. The Eddsworld Gang were even piloting it while Matt was very clearly smiling, which was shown to power the ship meaning it was moving at similar speeds, with this feat getting to around 15 Trillion c, or around MFTL+

And looking at these two uhh… Yeah. One was BARELY hitting Relativistic while the other was MFTL+ If you really wanna know the exact gap well, The Eddsworld Gang's piloting feat isaround 136,363,636,363,636x faster than The Ed’s moon climb. Which is a REALLY bad gap. However, these boys all have feats which reach to incalculable levels of speed, so we’ll quickly cover those.

For Ed, Edd n Eddy, Ed is capable of accelerating the rate in which time moved backwards by just running alone, with Eddy and Double D reacting to him doing this, which would get The Ed’s to around Immeasurable. The Eddsworld Gang on the other hand have once again piloted Commander Bai’s ship, which could travel to the very end of space itself, with space in Eddsworld being stated to be bottomless, which would place them at around Infinite. There's even a comic where Edd got lost in time itself while taking a walk, which could get pretty high but it’s a little vague.

Speaking of vague, both of these feats are things many will argue against, like them being outliers, or being too vague, or just simply being an ability rather than a feat. But either way, if you buy these The Ed’s should be solidly faster than Eddsworld. So good for them!

So by simply reading this, we have two outcomes depending on how you look at speed, so it’s really up to you! (The reader) to choose which one you buy. Don't worry however as the conclusion we came to didn't really depend too much on speed. But either way, Eddsworld takes speed on a finite end, while Ed, Edd n Eddy are faster on incalculable ends.

Equipment And Abilities

This is EASILY the most interesting part of the debate, and was the real deciding factor for our verdict. Not only due to how broken their abilities and equipment were, but how many they all had. In terms of weapons, These Ed based trios had tons to offer in terms of what they could throw at each other. They actually had a multitude of similar/the exact same weapons, such as various battering tools, tons of long ranged gun-like weapons (both even having access to laser blasters), they had bows, flamethrowers, giant magnets to pull metal items towards them, makeshift suits of armour, many explosives, etc.

So they’re pretty evenly matched in terms of what they had in their pockets in terms of versatility, but in general The Eddsworld Gang's equipment seemed to be far more deadly. While it is true they had a multitude of similar tools, a lot of The Ed’s weapons just… Aren't really weapons? To explain what I mean, a sword is gonna be more effective than a coat hanger, a machine gun is gonna be more potent than a turkey baster, a landmine is gonna be more useful than a soda can, an actual flamethrower is gonna be better than an action figure, and a bow that shoots arrows is gonna be more handy than a bow with 0 ammo. Not to mention that a lot of The Ed’s tools were constructed with stuff they found laying around, which yes does indeed make them impressive, but it means they're really flimsy and easy to break. Which The Eddsworld could easily do with stuff like rocket launchers, grenades, dynamite, or just actual nuclear bombs. So yeah, The Eddsworlds weapons were a lot more deadly when it came down to combat. Also helped by them having a large variety of these, like many bladed weapons, many firearms, many explosives, etc.

But those weren't the only items in either’s tool kits, what about vehicles? Well once again these gangs had quite a lot in terms of what they can do behind the wheel. The Ed’s have scooters, rolling tools that can cause plants to grow for battle control, many vehicles for travelling through the air, a good few boats for the water, a magnetic crane to pull stuff around, and go-karts that can release giant gas bombs and repulsor rays. Eddsworld on the other hand, had cars that could drive above the clouds via a Z gear, military tanks that could blow giant mutated snowmen up, magic carpets that can fly, Zantas sleigh which was equipped with miniguns and missiles, a giant mecha which had similar weapons, and a spaceship which can travel around galaxies in seconds, had tractor beams, laser cannons that could carve words into planets, and rooms which could bring whatever they wanted to life. And uhhh, just by reading this once again Eddsworld had a clear advantage again. Not only were their vehicles less likely to fall apart (They had a functioning spaceship capable of space travel, while The Ed’s had a rocket that cannot enter space without being destroyed through the force of travel), but their vehicles were a lot more deadly with them all being equipped with bombs, machine guns, planet destroying cannons etc. So once again, Eddsworld takes the advantage in terms of vehicles.

So when it comes to what these guys have in their pockets, it seems like The Eddsworld gang have a clear advantage right? Well yes, this is very clearly true when it came to their simple weapons, but it was the exact opposite when it came to their haxey tools. Speaking of that, let's talk about their abilities, hax-based weapons, and how they countered the other shall we?

In terms of abilities and hax-based tools, they both shared many of the same. Not only could both generally perform cartoony shenanigans and stuff whenever, but both can stretch their arms, shapeshift their bodies, summon large flocks of birds, fly through the air, duplicate themselves, utilise hypnosis, travel through time, create whatever they want through their imagination, could access forms that turned them into monsters, superheroes, creatures who could control armies, and SO much more. These trios were matching blow for blow for blow, but who was doing it better?

Well on The Ed’s side, they certainly were better when it came to the healing and coming back from pure pain side, fitting dont you think? Not only did they have access to on demand healing items like Jawbreakers, burgers, Chunky Puffs, and marshmallows, but their regeneration seemed to work a bit faster. While both trios can come back from nearly the exact same things (Losing limbs, being reduced to multiple pieces, turned to ash, melted into a puddle) The Ed’s always seemed to come back way faster, while Eddsworld presumably took a bit longer. Hell, The Ed’s even had ways of becoming invincible for periods of times, meaning they’d likely be taking more pain throughout the fight. The Ed Boys also had the advantage of most of their potent haxes all being shared, like their shadow manipulation, flight, sound manipulation, erasure, etc. Whereas Eddsworlds were scattered across a team. Combine this with The Ed’s incredible teamwork, their haxes are gonna be far more accessible.

On the flipside, Eddsworld had their own advantages. For one, their abilities suited them a lot better for a fight, with their energy projection, demon repelling auras, telekinesis to attack from far away, creating fake clones to fool The Ed’s, etc. Eddsworlds abilities also had the advantage of being The Ed’s but just a lot better, like Toms flight being greater than The Ed’s walking on air gags, Matts eagle summoning having more uses than Ed’s flock curses, their duplication summoning multiple clones rather than just 1, and much more. The Eddsworlds forms also appeared to be a bit better, being a lot more useful in terms of combat and matching every ability The Ed’s forms had. Monster Tom & Lobster Matt were huge and would likely overwhelm Edzilla (Especially since the form can be removed by simply taking away the costume) Matts vampire army (and potential Zombeh army) were a lot more potent and came in larger packs than Ed’s mutated Chunky Puff creatures, and it should go without saying that PowerEdd was far better than Professor Scam. As funny as it is, The Ray Of Riches is not stacking up to a crater creating spirit bomb. PowerEdd also had far more abilities than The Ed’s superhero forms meaning he’d probably overpower them, it also helps that PowerEdd got into actual fights and not imaginary ones.

So they seem to be pretty matched right now. They have similar powers all equally versatile, with Eddsworlds allowing them to deal more damage, while Ed, Edd n Eddys allowed them to take all that damage, even recovering from it. So it’s time to talk about Trump Cards, powers that can instantly change and end the fight if landed. And there's quite a few of them, so let’s explain them and how they countered each one.

The Ed’s had a lot. From their hypnosis, limb removal, their ability to remove outlines and melt opponents, transmuting people into comic books, and of course Ed’s various lucky charms and their Death Manipulation. All of these are super useful, and would be enough to take down most opponents, however unfortunately for The Ed’s, Eddsworld countered pretty much ALL of it. The Hypno Hat, while useful, wouldn't work on Tom at all due to his ability to resist mind control and possession, and he could simply take The Hat Away from The Ed’s. (Very easily due to his greater strength and telekinesis) The Ed’s abilities of limb removal and transmutation are pretty handy too, however The Eddsworld Gangs ability to grow back lost limbs and come back from being turned into stuff like cake meant these options weren't sure-fire win cons either. And then there's Ed’s lucky charms. A very potent and useful item, which possessed Death Manipulation via its pure stench, which could very well work on Eddsworld considering Matt died to Death In A Can right? Well yes, the stench has the potency to kill them but not only was it’s Death Manipulation only shown to work on small fish likely meaning a target needs to be small and weak for it to work, but even if it did instantly kill The Eddsworld Gang, they could just come back as ghosts who can still physically interact with stuff around them and keep the fight going. Well there is an argument that Sheldon and the other charms possess soul destruction via Double D’s shower incident, Double D’s stench was clearly worse. I mean, I’m pretty sure smelly cheese is a little more bearable than actual cow shit being combined with out of date milk. It’s also very apparent that this smell is worse, considering it drove Double D absolutely mad, while Sheldon just really annoyed him and freaked him out. So neither I nor the other researchers actually buy Sheldon's stench being comparable and having soul destruction, the whole sequence is also coming from the eyes of someone who went completely insane so, not really the most reliable either.

On the other hand, The Eddsworld Boys had many haxes and such that The Ed’s could not resist or counter, while Eddsworld had just the right abilities to counter and get rid of theirs. In terms of haxes that would do The Ed’s in, Toms strange eye-like hypnosis would work on The Ed’s, as it’s literally shown at the end of the episode that The Hypno Wheel also works on The Ed’s (Tom could also likely take the wheel away from The Ed’s and use it against them), Edds fear inducement would also likely work on The Ed’s knowing their nature of often being afraid of conflict and running away from it, and The Gang possessed multiple sealing and BFR options that could instantly get rid of The Ed’s. This surprised me after researching this match but insanely enough, The Ed’s don't really have a counter to BFR or being sealed away beyond their ability to grab flashbacks, but it's debatable if that's even work if they’re in a whole other universe or alternate timeline. And due to that, they’re going to fall victim to many of Eddsworlds weapons and abilities. Like Matt's Magic Mirror, The Necronomicon, Tom's Eyes etc. Some of these even send away your soul like Toms Eyes and The Necronomicon, meaning even if they could use flashbacks to get out, Eddsworld could seal away their souls which would stop them from using flashbacks, as ghosts in Ed, Edd n Eddy cannot interact with the physical plane, with them at most being able to smell stuff. Speaking of soul stuff, The Eddsworld also had many ways to get around Sheldon's Death Manipulation beyond resurrection. If they notice it has a stench capable of killing them, they could get around it through numerous ways, like simply blocking their noses (It’s a common response against Sheldon), putting on space suits to block out the stench, getting inside their vehicles like the spaceship to block it out with it having no way in, using the normaliser to simply revert it back to a normal piece of cheese, and simply writing it out of the plot. Speaking of the plot, Eddsworlds plot manipulation was something The Ed’s just… Didn't have an answer for. Even with The Ed’s reality warping via One + One, it pales in comparison to Edds. While The Ed’s abilities were impressive, they were more akin to fourth wall breaking, and didn't really have many potent dura negation and shit. Edds creator powers on the other hand would allow him to create whatever he and The Gang needs at that moment, make whatever he says happen literally, changing the plot to make shit happen (Like making The Ed’s incapable of moving, taking away their tools, sending them to space, etc) or just warping continuity itself and making it to where the fight NEVER happens, and keep in mind that all of these powers can happen without Edd intending them to, with them seemingly being subconscious as shown with him sending Tom to space or making him get hit by a car. These wincons, as crazy as it sounds, are all up to Edd’s imagination, and are a lot more accessible and easy to use compared to The Ed’s reality warping and imagination hax, with The Ed’s not having a way to resist stuff like plot manipulation and continuity control.

So while Ed, Edd n Eddy certainly held the advantage in defensive powers, had more abilities to share, and were equipped with quite a few potent haxes, The Eddsworld Gangs abilities were more deadly, more on demand and easy to use, and they could endure and counter everything The Ed’s could throw at them with their resistances and resurrection, while The Ed’s had no way of resisting their haxes or putting Eddsworld down for good. To the point that speed blitzing meant nothing if they weren't putting The Eddsworld down at all, so with all this said Eddsworld takes Equipment & Abilities.

Territory Factors

In terms of actual intelligence, both of these trios had all their moments of intellect, showing the ability to create vehicles out of a bunch of trash, fooling and tricking people, and generally having good showcases of teamwork. However, The Ed’s seemed to have the advantage in this department. While Matt was smarter than Ed, that’s really all they had going for them (And who isn't smarter than Ed tbf). The Ed’s were a lot more crafty, with Eddys ability to make insane and wacky plans, and Double D’s incredible intellect and inventing knowledge. This combined also gave them better teamwork as a whole, as while they do care about each other and have fought together well in the past, The Eddsworld Gang have a lot more showcases of stabbing each other in the back, even killing one another multiple times. While The Ed’s on the other hand have a really strong bond and care about each other a lot, with each Ed covering up the other Ed’s flaws. For example, Ed’s strength helps with Double D’s weak bones, while Double D’s smarts makes up for Ed’s small brain. While The Eddsworld gang on the other hand had nothing like this, so in terms of raw intellect and teamwork The Ed Boys took this.

But what they did not take for sure, was combat skill and experience. While The Ed’s have been in their fair share of fights, and have seen some crazy stuff, it should be noted that The Ed’s typically don't really… Win those fights. They’re always on the backfoot of most of their fights and are only winning when under specific rules or in a certain form like Ed’s Lothar personality, with none of them having any real training beyond Double D knowing some unorthodox wrestling moves. Eddswolrd on the other hand have actual training in karate, the military, firearms, etc. They generally won more of their fights, and they know how to actually use weapons. And for experience, while The Ed’s have seen some pretty wacky stuff, it should be noted that almost all of it is the same people in the same location. Throughout the series, The Ed’s never leave The Cul-De-Sac up until the movie, and were always fighting and tricking the exact same kids each episode, while The Eddsworld Gang on the other hand will regularly fight world ending threats like Zombehs, Ghosts, Demons, Evil Clones, Giant Robots, Zanta, etc. The only time The Ed’s have ever dealt with something even comparable to this was during Super Secret Crisis war, but even then they were mostly being carried by people who actually knew how to fight like Samurai Jack and Ben Tennyson, with The Ed’s mainly taking a backseat when it came to action. What also really hinders The Ed’s is that they have shown to struggle immensely against opponents with actual training and skill, who are also stronger than them such as Rolf. And guess what? The Eddsworld Gang are not only more skilled, but FAR stronger than them. So yeah, when it comes down to combat skill & general experience, Eddsworld comes out on top.

And for some final little facts and information, The Ed’s have way better pain tolerance due to well.. Take a guess, and they’re similar in stamina with both teams staying awake for days on end. That's about that.

Overall

Ed, Edd n Eddy

“Once an Ed. Always an Ed.”

Advantages:

  • Solidly faster on an incalculable end.

  • Their equipment and abilities offered more defensive & healing options.

  • Regeneration worked faster than Eddsworlds.

  • Had many haxes and abilities that could make the fight really tedious for The Gang.

  • Were equipped with more shared haxes, allowing for their powers to be more accessible.

  • Sheldon's Death Manipulation would instantly kill The Eddsworld Gang…

  • Double D and Eddy were smarter than the entire crew.

  • Had a stronger bond and better teamwork.

  • Greater tolerance to pain.

  • Around equal in Stamina.

  • Eddy beat the ever living pulp out of Yusuke Urameshi.

  • Canonically swear at each other.

  • Ed, Edd n Eddy, Purgatory theory!

Disadvantages:

  • Were A LOT weaker even if you used One + One = Ed feats.

  • Trillions of times slower on a finite end.

  • Equipment & vehicles were less deadly, and were really faulty when it came to durability.

  • Had no resistance to being BFR’d, sealed away, or having their plot rewritten.

  • Most of their haxes would likely not work on Eddsworld.

  • … But Eddsworlds spirit-based resurrection made that kind of useless.

  • Lacked combat training, with them struggling immensely against those who are more skilled than them. With most of their skills being locked away behind specific forms they need to access

  • Far less experience seeing bizarre stuff.

  • Their habit of running away from fights they think they cannot win is not doing them any favours.

  • Freaks, real freaks.

  • The Kanker Sisters would NOT slide today.

  • Crosswalks.

Eddsworld

”Come for the fun. Stay for the puns.”

Advantages:

  • Far Stronger and more Durable no matter which end you went with.

  • Trillions of times Faster on a finite end.

  • Their weapons & vehicles were far more deadly and were put together a lot better.

  • Many of their powers were just The Ed’s ones but a lot better.

  • BFR, Sealing, & Plot Manipulation were instant wincons The Ed’s had no answer for.

  • Resisted every single hax The Ed’s had, even having ways of getting rid of Sheldon.

  • Their spirit-based resurrection made them impossible to kill.

  • Matt was slightly smarter than Ed…

  • Had a far greater track record when it came to combat, possessing actual training & skill.

  • Have seen and fought far more crazy stuff.

  • Around equal in Stamina.

  • LGBTQ+ Allies.

  • Edd was a Scott Pilgrim fan.

  • Eddsworld is one of the most wholesome and sweet passion projects I’ve ever seen.

Disadvantages:

  • Slower when using their incalculable ends.

  • Less defensive and healing options.

  • Regeneration seemed to take a lot longer when compared to Ed, Edd n Eddys.

  • Had less shared haxes compared to The Ed’s, such as Tom's mind control resistance being specific towards him.

  • Sheldon's Death Manipulation would instantly kill them.

  • ... But overall, The entire gang was a lot stupider and more moronic compared to The Ed’s

  • Can at times be dickheads who throw each other under the bus, which didn't do them any favours in terms of teamwork.

  • Worse pain tolerance.

  • The Eddsworld fandom.

  • Old Eddsworld humour.

  • What the fuck Tom.

And that's a wrap, this matchups debate generally comes down to what you personally believe for the characters in all honesty, with the verdict having the potential to change depending on the eyes viewing these trios fight, but in my eyes a verdict has been chosen.

While The Ed’s were no pushovers at all, with their arguably greater speed, quick thinking & teamwork, and really insane abilities and toon force shenanigans. But Eddsworlds greater power, similar speed, deadly arsenal, mind bending, plot controlling powers, ghostly resurrection and their insane skill at taking on crazy enemies was enough to secure this win as if it was a Jawbreaker.

Seeing The Ed’s lose sure sucks, but don’t cry reader! It’s not like it’s the Ed of the World or something, Eh?

… Wait, I already made that pun? Oh… I’ll…I’ll leave.

The Winners are Eddsworld.

Team Ed, Edd n Eddy (3) - DoRitto, Iceking, Smaggle.

Team Eddsworld (9) - Fiction, Enidude, The Cereal, Spycrab, Brazilian Mongoose, Family Guy Soundwave, Fish Jr, The, Zadtoon.

Ed, Edd n Eddy was one of my childhood shows, and if you don't count action cartoons like Samurai Jack and Ben 10, it’s actually my favourite cartoon… Ever. Eddsworld is also a series that's been with me since I was really young and I love it a lot too, I really hope I did a good job here!

As for what's next for these blogs? Well… I’ve got multiple teased combatants, and a few confirmed matchups that are all exclusive to Fiction Fights discord server only! But I can tell you what the next time is!
